The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a mono-superspeciality hospital for liver and biliary diseases located at New Delhi, India. ILBS is an education which is focused on Liver and Biliary Sciences, however, Nephrology an important sister branch of the hospital. The various other specialties provided by the hospital are support based Oncology, and Cardiology, along with other liver related specialties like Pediatric Hepatology, Pulmonary Medicine, Renal Transplant, Urology and Radiology. One of the most best Dr. Vinod Sir. He is sitting on 3 days in a week like Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

One of the worst hospital. Don't ever go there. your patient will die there Dr. Rakhi Maliwal and her team is worst. they don't look for patient care it looks like they don't even have a proper team. You will not fin even one responsible doctor. Each day doctor gets changed. SR Kavita in the ICU was particularly unhelpful and demonstrated a lack of compassion and competence

ILBS Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences I scheduled a minor surgery here on 4th August due to a skin infection that developed after a laparoscopic procedure a year ago. A referral suggested ILBS would offer good treatment at a lower cost. Initially, the finance department clearly informed me that the surgery would cost around ₹20,000. Based on that estimate, I completed all necessary pre-surgery tests. On the morning of 5th August, I arrived at the hospital at approximately 8:30 AM on an empty stomach. Around 11 AM, the doctor provided me with the admission form and instructed me to complete the formalities at the billing counter. However, upon arriving at the counter, I was suddenly asked to deposit ₹10,000 upfront, and informed that the total bill would only be known after the surgery. When I mentioned the earlier ₹20,000 estimate, the billing staff completely denied it, saying: “We have no idea what the cost will be — you’ll know only after the surgery is done.” For an institution of ILBS’s scale—conducting hundreds of surgeries daily—not being able to provide even a cost estimate for a minor procedure is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. The billing desk lady and finance staff were extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. They refused to even review my file or confirm amounts with the doctor. Despite completing all tests, I was forced to cancel the surgery due to this uncertainty and the disrespectful behavior of the staff. Terrible experience. I strongly advise anyone not to consider ILBS Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences for surgery unless they provide clear written cost information upfront.

I strongly urge the hospital management to review its procedures and priorities. As the treatment is best, but the focus must shift from doing excessive, irrelevant tests to conducting only those that are truly needed for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, as even after discharge patient getting reports on whatsapp, if that tests are not necessary then why to do that. As not all patient have strong financial support.

Very clean and well managed.. you feel like you visiting some very costly and non affordable hospital. However it's good and services are fine too. Canteen is in bad shape though, u don't have much options and food is not fresh.

Very Disappointing and Unethical Experience My experience with ILBS Hospital, Delhi, has been extremely disappointing. Instead of focusing on the patient’s actual recovery, the approach felt heavily profit-driven. I observed that for patients in the ICU, the primary suggestion seemed to be putting them on a ventilator, regardless of whether it was genuinely necessary. It gave the impression that the aim was to prolong ICU stays and inflate bills, rather than provide the best possible treatment. Hospitals are meant to prioritise patient care, compassion, and ethical medical practices. Unfortunately, my experience here was the opposite. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious and seek second opinions before agreeing to any major procedures at this facility.

Worst hospital !!! (Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences) Please don't go there!! 🙏 My bade papa went to this hospital in good condition but after treatment my bde papa never regained consciousness. Big scam is going in the hospital, I lost my bade papa because of this hospital , they do experiments on body and no one is there to take care doctors are not present on weekends, I strictly request and plead no one to visit in this hospital if you want to save life. They are making money and even a well recovering patient dies they make money in the name of ICU and keep the body on ventilator till they can, to make money ,if any patient or family reading this I request to go to any government or any other place but don’t come to this hospital .I beg in pain of loosing my bade papa who was just having minor issues but they lead to Major ones and after making there lacs of money they declared him dead!!! This hospital is a disgrace, please do not fall into their trap. They’re running a business that’s more focused on making money than actually treating patients. They’ll keep you confused, telling you day by day that the patient is recovering, and the next day claim it's critical, all while continuing to make money from the family. When they realize you're running out of funds, they’ll suddenly say the patient is in critical condition and they were not even allowing us to take the patient to any other hospital. Please don't trust them, your loved ones might walk in, but they’ll make sure to put them on a ventilator to squeeze more money from you. Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews before admitting anyone to this hospital!! 🙏

Currently booster dosage center is running here . System is really smooth
