ILBS in my experience is one of the finest place for Liver related health issues. Doctors are all very good , highly experienced and work with high ethics and morals . They guided me at each stage....I was struggling one fine day , when my family member who was suffering with advance stage chirosssis, was admitted for mild fever and acute weakness , in a 5 star hospital in Delhi ,was about to be given 1000mg paracetamol ! As his physicians who are highly respected hepatologists in the country, had advised him not to take more than 250 mg of paracetamol in 24 hours , for his highly challenged liver, he refused to take the injection . Meanwhile I called up ILBS hospital and duty doctors told me not to take this injection and bring the patient to ILBS , despite the fact that no beds were available . The duty doctor said that till the bed is available they will put him on a stretcher and treat him. I agreed and took LAMA and rushed him to ILBS where he was treated for Ascites, and released after a week. I am thankful for ILBS for the timely and correct advise. We got the transplant done later somewhere else . We are grateful to ILBS for all the support we got from them in the entire process . I strongly recommend liver patients to meet doctors at ILBS, or at least take a second opinion . Here you will find frank and an honest opinion which is not tainted . We are still in touch with them including Dr Ashok Chaudhary and great Dr Sarin and Dr Pamecha.
Surgery : Liver Transplant(30th Mar, 2017) Patient: Naresh Kumar Verma Donor: Rishu Verma Would like express my gratitude to Dr Pamecha & His team.My father had undergone a Liver Transplant surgery at ILBS 3 months back. The donor is my younger brother Rishu Verma. During workup period one thing I observed that DR Pamecha & his team is very concerned about Donor safety. They don't want take any risk for Donor which makes them different from other institution.During pre surgery meeting, the calm attitude of Dr Pamecha and the way of explanation about the pro & cons of this surgery give us a hope and belief that every thing gonna be alright. As the words Dr Pamecha has given us our father back.During the surgery we were more concerned towards my brother but as the days come to an end we got a message from DR Pamecha" Surgery is Successful". After that my brother (Donor) got discharge on 6th Day post surgery and doing well without any complication. My father got discharge on 17th Day post surgery. During the stay Outstanding Care, Outstanding Nursing Staff, Outstanding Hygiene. I am fall short of words to express my happiness for ILBS. Only the hospital should work towards there Administration part, they are not much cooperative and would prefer to work like a Government culture which is not going with the culture of ILBS who is provide beyond the limit care and service towards patients well being. Once again I would like to thank DR Pamecha & His team for there great efforts of saving my fathers life or say giving him a new life as well as to all family members. Thanks ILBS Regards ISHU VERMA S/O Naresh Kumar Verma
Dr.Sarin may be a pioneer Hepatalogist as described but a what a sheer waste of his knowledge and wisdom if a common man can't reach him for consultation. Appointment desk sucks. They don't give his appointment unless the case is very critical. This is worst part of our country's healthcare system and deficient Governance. Hope Medical professionals will agree that early symptoms if treated well & in time prove life saving and prevent aggregations to complex problems. Who makes it understand to ILBS appointment desk. After all Medical Services are sadly a Business in our country and not Healthcare in real. Even the poor countries like Cuba have better system then us. I am sure they don't treat VVIP's like this. Thumbs down to ILBS and Dr.Sarin for such a mismanagement and negligent attitude.
Going to this hospital is as good as going to none. Pure money making machinery with no concern for the patient. They deceive you by showing you a rosy picture while knowing the whole time the end result. Sarin only cares for high profile patients and mortals like us are left out in the open to fend for ourselves. Try contacting them after you go back from the hospital. No doctor comes on line. Horrible experience. Real nightmare.
My father needed a Liver Transplant and every place we enquired gave us an estimate of 30~40lakhs. We couldn't even think about it, it was out of our league, we simply couldn't afford it and we were devastated. Then like a ray of hope we heard about ILBS and that they do the surgery of 14lakh package. But we were skeptical as cheap is usually equivalent to bad. But that wasn't the case in ILBS. When we first visited the place we were awestruck by how big the hospital is. When the treatment started we were impressed by the doctors and the nursing staff. Finally got the surgery done and post surgery care was phenomenal. Dr Vinyendra Pamecha is the head of transplant and he has magic hands. After surgery my father looked 10 years younger. It's been 1.5 months post surgery and father is doing really great.
This is the worst hospital for liver diseases. May be headed by a quality doctor but that not sufficient to save the life of bereaved people. Saw young people dying because of poor treatment.very expensive and poor services
I will never recommond any one to go ILBS Delhi for treatment. And for their family members i will request if you want your loved one live a long life the please do not admit in ILBS. My family member was admited in Emergency for liver diceases and tranferd to LCICU on ventilator. Doctor told for Liver transplant first day, but they dont try for recovery of diceased liver. After some day kidney get fsiled and due to low B.P. we lost our hope. Charges of LCICU is 1 lack per day. After giving huge amount my family destroyed due to arogent doctors of ILBS. I strongly suggest do not go if you want to live a long life..
My father was having liver treatment for last one and half years from ILBS. Now he is no more, got expired on 31st Oct. Most of the facilities are best in class. Only negative/poor response I faced is in Emergency specially during night time. They just give very basic First aid treatment and wait for the morning SR Doctor to attend the patient. CMO there is just for name without decision making power. They don't even bother to call the SR on duty and shift the patient in HDU/ICU if patient is critical and couldn't be handled in emergency. Till morning patient becomes more serious and his chances of revival/ survival dip down. This happens to me and I lost my father after struggling for life in HDU for 7 days. Request you to please improve emergency response specially in night time. Thanks, Ashok Kumar. Patient : Mr. Satpal UHID - 136021
This hospital Dr making money form every where. Dr's are prescribing medicine which are not available on general store but available only on the told us and these medicine is very costly which normal person can not afford and they are make hug money by commission a Sr Dr in liver department is doing that but no buddy stopping him. please Gov of India do something
Worst of worstl !!! (Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences) i recommend not to go there 🙏 My sister went to this hospital in good condition on beginning of May & she is just 22yr old but after treatment my sister never regained consciousness. Big scam is going in the hospital & they put my sister ventilator for 30days & their senior doctor always outstation because their carelessness lost my sister 2 days back because of this hospital , they do experiments on body and no one is there to take care doctors are not present on weekends, I strictly request and plead no one to visit in this hospital if you want to save life. They are making money and even a well recovering patient dies they make money in the name of ICU and keep the body on ventilator till they can, to make money ,if any patient or family reading this I request to go to any government or any other place but don’t come to this hospital .I beg in pain of loosing my sister who was just having minor issues but they lead to Major ones and after making there lacs of money they declared her dead!!! This hospital is a disgrace, please do not fall into their trap. They’re running a business that’s more focused on making money than actually treating patients. They’ll keep you confused, telling you day by day that the patient is recovering, and the next day claim it's critical, all while continuing to make money from the family. When they realize you're running out of funds, they’ll suddenly say the patient is in critical condition and they were not even allowing us to take the patient to any other hospital. Please don't trust them, your loved ones might walk in, but they’ll make sure to put them on a ventilator to squeeze more money from you. Do yourself a favor and read all the reviews before admitting anyone to this hospital!! 🙏
