India's top most institute for Liver and kidney related illnesses. Very well qualified and renowned doctors. Nominal charges if you compare to other private hospitals or doctors. One can take appointment by calling thier customer care in advance. And if you have any kind of emergency you can reach to emergency department why time of the day. Canteen inside the hospital is a bit expensive but has good quality of food with little Masala and oil. Doctors and other staff are very polite, professional and helpful. Near by landmark is Chattarpur Metro Station, autos from Chattarpur Metro Station charge only 40-50 rupees to go there. Easiest way to reach there to take cab to reach the hospital.
Although it's an autonomous institution, it's no less than a private hospital. It's all about appearance. The treatment is below par. Dr. Sarin rarely sees any cases and the junior doctors who come on daily rounds, give conflicting responses. Please at all cost. My mom died in this hospital and I blame it on the hospital for it.
Money minded don't listen to patients. For them every problem only can be treated with transplant only. Consulted for my uncle with Dr s k sarin and his team member Dr. Satyam. In very first meeting suggested us a list of blood test, dexa and CT scan. Cost us around 20,000 from there hospital only which can be done 8k to 10k from out side. In second meeting simply asked as to get admit. We asked them what proceser / treatement they are going to provide. So Dr satyan started getting rud on our quotations. Please avoid this hospital
I suggest, it is one of the best hospital for liver and kidney diseases in all over delhi. My father had liver cirrhosis and needed liver transplant . Doctors and whole staff in ILBS are very cooperating and it is only because of their help that i got my father's surgery done by DR.V.PAMECHA . The surgery was done in november'18 and it is 4 months now ..my father and mother (donor) both are perfectly heathly ,fit and happy. Dr. pamecha and his whole team are like god to us... they give a new life to my father. Thank u ILBS..!
Killer & Money seeker hospital. Worst experience ever had. They killed my father. My dad went der for a second opinion, they told all ok come after 4 days. Again they told k reports are ok but ur weak so we are going to admit u for 4 days. When we asked for discharge after four day then the told k reports are not normal his calcium level is high, we have to admit him in HDU. When we went to seen him in HDU he was having Milk in Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. When I asked about it to Dr on duty he called Dietician & told take care of it Patient is Suffering from Hypercalcimia. They kept him there for one week. After many requests they shifted him to Private Ward & again told k we’ll discharge in two days . When it comes to discharge again they said his potassium level is high we have to shift him agin in HDU. Again when we went to see him he was having Coconut water ... we shouts what is this ..?? What the treatment is going ??? Then again they said sorry n did same thing . when my dad was in private ward everything was ok . There was no any need of Kidney or Liver Transplant. His urination was perfect , diet was ok. But in HDU they said k his urine output is zero we have to go for Dylasis . We were not ready but we don’t have option. They did 6 Dylasis after every alternate day. Where as Doctor told earlier that he is weak so Dylasis is dangerous for him . Wherever we asked for reports & details of medicatintion they never told or showed. Even once a ward boy & some so nurses told that ... Bhaiya ya to ynha se le jao ya private ward me Rakho.. HDU or ICU me patients k sath janwar se bhi bura bartao hota hai. But we were helpless can’t do anything. They also did 3 BT , where as cardiologist told k no need of that & even it’s risky because earlier he has went through heart surgery & stent were implemented. But keeping all the risk factors beside they did all the treatments & killed my father. They kept my dead father on vent for two days just for money. Even Doctor’s behaviour was disgusting. When my mom went to see my dad one of Doctor told her ur husband is not going to survive, take him out . They killed my father. All the junior doctors did their research on my father & killed him. I’ll never suggest anyone for treatment over there. My dad went there on his legs & came back on stretcher , packed in clothes. Even I saw many of attendants complaining for wrong treatment & miss behaveing but they were helpless bcoz of their loved ones . Whenever we asked for discharge or details of medication they threat us by say that your patient is serious, we can’t discharge him otherwise he will die.
Doctors are highly confused and do not give any time to the patient. It feels like they are running a business out of guess work. They make mistakes in diagnosing and the patient has to suffer health wise and time wise. There is a conflict between opinions of senior and junior doctors, and they keep switching the doctor assigned because no one has an idea about how to diagnose. As a result, They have wasted 2 months of the patient, and even though he is suffering, they do not want to admit the patient because they don't have enough infrastructure to keep him . The only reason this hospital was chosen for treatment because it was thought to specialise in liver but I guess the doctors haven't enough experience to run it.
Name of Patient : Vijay Batra Name of Donor: Rahul Batra Procedure Name: Liver Transplant Surgery Procedure Date : 20th April'2017 Doctor: V Pamecha We underwent one of the most complicated procedures carried out by a handful of surgeons all over the world. The team of doctors at ILBS lead by Dr Pamecha was the prime reason that we were convinced from the very beginning that we will go through this procedure. They were very co-operative and patient, ensured that we understood the complications involved and also the possible outcomes of the surgery (good and bad..!!). My father is doing fine medically with all the medical tests improving by the day. I am also recovering fine and the doctors are taking due care to monitor our progress. I am hopeful of complete recovery in due course of time. The ILBS facility is top class and the doctors are really professional. I would recommend this hospital to everyone who is suffering from any kind of liver disease to get the most informed and honest opinion about their disease and the next steps that should be followed. Rahul Batra
My daughter was admitted on 2nd may and discharged on 13th may.In brief i would only say that iam thankful to the entire staff of Ilbs for taking care of my daughter. I would like to thank Dr Ayush,Dr Arjun,Dr Akhil,Dr Ready and above all Dr Sareen for giving the best possible treatment to my daughter. I would like to thank the entire nursing staff for all their efforts .May god bless them all .
Post operative care of ilbs doctors, nurses and staffs are excellent. All the team of doctors, nurses and staffs are dedicated to safeguarding the life of patients. In my opinion it is one of the Best Hospital for the transplantation of liver, kidney & treatment of Pancras. Dr. Sharon Shahab & Pamecha Shahab & his team of Dr.'s are excellent for performing their duties dedicatedly.
Its a TEACHINGS hospital everyone gonna experimenting on ur love one. My father was admitted there for transplant process but they have make my fathers in that condition where he can’t even move . His lungs kidney liver has been damage within the ward of hospital. After they put in icu ventilator and had experiments with their health. He got bed shol but they don’t even tell me.i see my father cry . He was in hope to get well soon but unfortunately HE IS NOT ALIVE. Doctor told u that u come here late while we have been given treatment there form last 2.5month. If u think u gona save money in transplant process. Neither ur patient or ur money will save there.
