I had a confirmed booking with a valid confirmation voucher, yet the staff at the reception insisted it wasn’t enough and demanded additional proof. This was not only inconvenient but also quite unprofessional. It’s disappointing to see such poor handling of a basic check-in process. The front desk team clearly needs better training in both guest management and customer service. A hospitality business should know how to make guests feel welcomed—not frustrated. Worst rooms of an IHCL hotel. The rooms have damp smell and for the price you pay you really don't get much. While the staff was courteous there was no 4/5 star treatment. Location is great though. We had a wonderful stay at Wow Crest Hotel in Indore with our family. The location is ideal, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and amenities. Absolutely Terrible Experience. Shockingly Unprofessional. I had one of the worst experiences ever with WOW Crest IHCL Indore. This so-called “pet-friendly” hotel denied taking my booking just because my dog is an English Bulldog — a globally loved, gentle and toy breed. According to them, this breed is “banned.” Seriously? Where in the world is an English Bulldog banned? Their claim is completely baseless. The reservation staff had zero knowledge, no professionalism, and absolutely no courtesy. When I asked them to show the notification or official rule stating this absurd ban, they couldn’t provide anything. Instead, they said their “reservation team isn’t available” and that they “only have these guidelines.” No proof, no logic, nothing. Just excuses. If a hotel markets itself as pet-friendly, the least they can do is train their staff and set proper policies. Instead, WOW Crest IHCL Indore seems clueless, untrained, and outright rude. This is not the standard one expects from an IHCL-associated property. Extremely disappointed. Would never recommend this hotel to any pet owner or traveller who expects even basic professionalism. Had been there for work. This property belongs to Indian Hotels, so was meant to be up to the mark. Nice lobby, rooms, courteous staff, breakfast spread, and ambiance. Rooms were well lit. Staff was helpful and their assistance was prompt. All channels on TV were subscribed - had to be since it’s their own DTH 😆. Their conference rooms were spacious with a good floor to ceiling height. Overall would highly recommend this place when on work on vacation. It was an amazing experience at the hotel however there was one chef name as Mr Vinay he was so nice and very well spoken however I have never seen a staff like him in any hotel .
