Stayed for 2 nights at Wow Crest Hotel, Indore. Overall, a decent experience with some ups and downs. Pros: Excellent location Attentive and friendly staff, especially in the restaurant Good breakfast spread Decent rooms Cons: Understaffed check-in process No acknowledgment for Epicure membership, was expecting just a acknowledgement and thank you. Unresolved odor issue in one of the rooms Small washrooms The hotel's prime location and the restaurant staff's service were highlights of our stay. The rooms were adequate, and we enjoyed the breakfast offerings. However, the check-in process was slow due to understaffing, and as an Epicure member, I was disappointed by the lack of recognition. One room had a persistent smell from the washroom that wasn't addressed despite reporting it. The washrooms are on the smaller side. While our stay was generally satisfactory, mainly due to the location and attentive staff, there's definitely room for improvement in certain areas. We stayed in this property twice on the way driving from delhi to mumbai and back and were truly amazed by the exceptional service by all staff, bell desk , all were very polite and helpful . We really enjoyed the delicious food and deserts accompanied by music . Truly wonderful . Specially Chef Viney at restaurant made all the difference , just because of great food we stayed two nights , nearby shopping attractions and provide us best room in very should duration . We requested quite a few things during our time there, but he never once hesitated and was always ready to assist with a smile. 1. Prolonged Check-In Process: Despite arriving at 7:00 PM, it took 35–40 minutes to complete the check-in due to malfunctioning key cards. Payment was not collected during this time, and I had to repeatedly return to the reception to access the lift, as the key cards failed consistently. This was both frustrating and humiliating. 2. Unfulfilled Birthday Promise: Prior to my arrival, I received 4–5 calls from your staff confirming a complimentary birthday cake to be delivered at 8:00 AM on April 27. This gesture was never fulfilled, indicating a lack of coordination and commitment. 3. Room Allocation Issues: I had specifically requested a twin bedroom, which was unavailable upon arrival. If such a room type is not offered, the reservation should not have been accepted. My request for a complimentary upgrade was also denied. 4. Poor Room Amenities: The extra bed provided was of substandard quality—weak, unstable, and caused discomfort due to its sagging middle. The towels were worn out, and essential toiletries and coffee were missing, necessitating additional calls to housekeeping. 5. Inadequate Air Conditioning: Around 3:00–4:00 AM, the air conditioning ceased to function effectively, making the room uncomfortably warm and disrupting our sleep. 6. Misrepresentation of Staff Roles: When I inquired about speaking with the General Manager, I was informed that he was unavailable. I then requested to speak with the duty manager, and a staff member claimed to be the manager. However, it became evident that he was not in a managerial position. Subsequently, another individual presented himself as the manager, but he was actually the security head. This deliberate misrepresentation by the staff is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the hotel’s management practices. 7. Refusal to Provide General Manager’s Contact Information: Despite multiple requests, the staff refused to provide the General Manager’s email ID or contact information, further exacerbating my frustration and leaving me with no immediate avenue to address my concerns. Good service and place is centrally located. Safe neighborhood and food is available 24 hours. So it is perfect if you have small kids. They took great care and we enjoyed our stay here.
