India Gate is one of the best places to visit in Delhi, especially in the evening. The area gets quite crowded, creating a lively atmosphere with families, friends, and tourists enjoying the surroundings. The illuminated India Gate looks absolutely stunning at night and is perfect for photography. The nearby Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose statue adds to the beauty and historical significance of the place. There are plenty of open spaces to relax, street food vendors nearby, and a cool breeze in the evening that makes the visit even more enjoyable. If you're in Delhi, this iconic landmark is definitely worth visiting at least once. Visited on Weekend Wait time 30–60 min

India Gate is located at Kartavya Path (formerly Rajpath), New Delhi, in the heart of the capital. It is beautifully maintained and definitely a must-visit place when you travel to Delhi. Designed by renowned British architect Edwin Lutyens, India Gate was constructed between 1921 and 1931 and stands prominently along Delhi’s central ceremonial axis, facing Rashtrapati Bhavan. The monument commemorates more than 74,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died during World War I and other conflicts. The names of thousands of servicemen are inscribed on its sandstone walls. A magnificent piece of architecture with great historical significance and an iconic symbol of New Delhi. Definitely worth visiting, especially in the evening when the area comes alive. Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

India Gate is a very beautiful place to visit. There are lots of things to see. It's my first time seeing the India Gate and its fullfiled my expectations. I saw this at 8.30 Pm. 🌃🌝✨ It was a very beautiful view to see that there was subhash chandra bose statue in front of it, and rastrapati bhavan is in a straight line with it. I clicked some photos of it. And uploaded as an attachment. Due to a lack of time i did not visit the whole area of India Gate, but I saw the important thing, lots of people are there come to visit and spend their lifes beautiful moments there. Lots of childrens are there families are there and the view was really beautiful.♥️😍 The main India Gate was stunning, and at night the light of indian flag colours looked perfectly attractive. That looked so beautiful. There was a beautiful fountain, garden ponds, water shows everywhere, with lights. Very cool area with a calming and inspiring feeling in the atmosphere.🤩🥰🦋🧖🌷🏞️🌬️🌌🌠🐟🐠 Must visit the place. ❤️✨🗺️🌐🧳 Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

A majestic 42-metre-high stone archway designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It stands as a war memorial dedicated to over 84,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who lost their lives during World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Located right beneath the arch is the Amar Jawan Jyoti -Flame of the Immortal Soldier which burns continuously to honor unknown fallen soldiers. I recently visited India Gate with my family, and it was a wonderful experience. Seeing such a famous monument in person felt really special. The place was full of people, but the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable The gardens around India Gate were clean, and many families were relaxing and taking photos. In the evening, the lights made the monument look even more beautiful. I also felt proud knowing that India Gate was built to honour the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country Overall, I had a great time visiting India Gate. It is a place that everyone should visit at least once because it is not only beautiful but also reminds us of our nation's history and the courage of our soldiers.

The city was still waking up when I reached India Gate early in the morning. The air felt cooler than usual, and the sky slowly changed from dark blue to soft orange. Around me, people were jogging, walking with friends, doing yoga, and enjoying the calm atmosphere. Walking along Kartavya Path, the wide roads, green lawns, and peaceful surroundings made the place feel completely different from busy daytime Delhi. Birds were flying overhead, cyclists passed by, and the sunlight slowly lit up India Gate, making it look even more impressive. There was a quiet energy everywhere — families taking photos, fitness groups exercising, and people simply sitting and enjoying the morning. A cup of chai from a nearby vendor made the experience even better. The morning walk felt refreshing, peaceful, and motivating — a reminder that Delhi has a calm side before the rush of the day begins. And at the end of the day I Love lutyens Delhi Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

Agar aap sirf selfie lene India Gate ja rahe ho, to shayad aap is jagah ki asli kahani miss kar doge. Ye 42 meter uncha memorial sirf Delhi ka landmark nahi, balki hazaron Indian soldiers ki yaad mein banaya gaya tha jinhone World War I aur Third Anglo-Afghan War mein apni jaan di thi. Is par 13,000 se bhi zyada soldiers ke naam likhe hue hain. 2026 mein India Gate ka experience aur bhi khaas tab ban jata hai jab aap sirf monument dekhkar wapas na aaen. Bas kuch hi kadam door National War Memorial bhi zarur dekhiye. Ek tip aur—agar shaam ke 7 baje ke baad aoge, to flood lights ke saath India Gate ka view bilkul alag level ka lagta hai. Mausam accha ho to lawn par baithkar family ya doston ke saath time spend karna bhi ek alag hi experience hai. Entry free hai, lekin weekends aur holidays par kaafi bheed mil sakti hai Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No

India Gate is not just a monument; it is an emotion for all Indians. A tribute to the brave hearts. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 #delhi #indiagate #india #viralpost #photo #akashkumarlakhera Standing proudly in the heart of India Gate, this place is much more than just a famous monument. The moment you reach there, the entire atmosphere feels lively and emotional at the same time. Surrounded by wide roads, green lawns, and the fresh evening breeze, India Gate gives a feeling that every visitor should experience at least once. The monument looks absolutely beautiful, especially after sunset when the lights turn on and the whole area starts glowing. Sitting near the lawns with family or friends, enjoying street food, watching children play, and seeing people from different parts of the country enjoying together creates a very positive vibe. The Amar Jawan Jyoti beneath the arch reminds everyone about the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers, and that feeling naturally brings respect and pride. One thing I personally liked was how active and cheerful the place remains during evenings. Ice cream sellers, balloon vendors, photographers, and local food stalls make the environment feel energetic without losing the historical importance of the monument. The architecture itself is impressive and looks even more majestic in real life than in photos. The area around India Gate is also clean and well maintained. It is a perfect place for a peaceful evening walk, photography, or simply spending quality time with loved ones. Early morning and late evening are probably the best times to visit because the weather feels pleasant and the crowd is manageable. Overall, visiting India Gate is not just about seeing a tourist attraction, it feels like experiencing a small part of India’s spirit and history together in one place. A must-visit spot for every traveller visiting Delhi. Visited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended Yes
