We came upon a recommendation from a friend and we were welcomed by Ranjeet Kaur from the entrance and magic happened- she is extremely helpful and honest she helped me pick an amazing sari with the best quality and great price- my cousin got excited and bought one too!!! The amazing thing is that they tailor it and prepare it upon your size in one day! She also helped us with buying great teas, spices and a travel bag- this shop showcase work of women in near villages - you will look amazing and help family buisnesse as well - make sure you ask for Ranjeet Kaur and radha kashiap ❤️ amazing help ❤️

The Rickshaw Driver Scam We were deliberately steered here by a local driver who clearly received a commission or kickback for bringing us in. This setup immediately raises suspicion regarding the store's practices. 2. Intense and Manipulative Sales Tactics The atmosphere inside the store is highly stressful and oppressive. The sales staff are intense, aggressive, and practice extreme high-pressure selling. They refuse to take "no" for an answer and use blatant emotional manipulation to pressure customers into buying expensive items. The entire experience felt less like shopping and more like an interrogation. 3. Exorbitant and Undocumented Prices Prices for items are not displayed anywhere, which allows them to quote wildly inflated figures based on the customer. Be warned: the quoted prices are exorbitantly high—many times the true value of the goods in local markets. Furthermore, when purchasing high-value items like "pashminas," the store provides no certificate of authenticity or any documentation to prove the item's origin or material purity. I read the reviews "after" visiting and I can understand why some people are saying its a scam because the local Tuk Tuk drivers are highly recommending to visit. Honestly we were happy with the attention, customer service and high quality products. They were able to make a custom vest for my husband in a matter of hours and delivered everything we purchased to our hotel same day before 9pm! The courier even called to let us know he was on his way. Who does this kind of service for you anywhere else in the world? The local people are kind and hard working in my opinion and deserve an excellent review for the work they put into doing business in a difficult environment. Full of shops with Indian origin. Sarees Kurthas, ornaments, jewellary, you name it - its there Have a huge selection. Prices are quite high but you are allowed to bargain.

people were kind and eager to show us around. paid for tailored suit 12.000 rupees. traditional jacket for 12.000 rupees. we later learned that this is MASSIVELY overpriced (suit should be 5.000 and jacket around 2.000). check it out, see the quality and go elsewhere to compare! we are happy but probably overpaid a lot. :-)
