Absolutely amazing place. World class products Kashmir carpets, pashmina, clothes, jewellery and the service is just wonderful. MK was fantastic and helped so much. Please visit... I said no to items I didn't want or had to think about and I was firm and left. The quality is better then other places I have experienced. I will go back. Also be aware of scams and just say no, get another rickshaw driver for instance.

Great place with so many amazing items . We bought gorgeous saris that were custom- tailored for us . The fabrics there are very beautiful and elegant . The women working in the sari department were lovely and so helpful especially Ranjeet Kaur and Radha Kashap .

First, I'll tell you my story, and finally, I'll describe a scam I managed to avoid by reading the reviews below. My guide took me here for the first time at the end of a day trip to Delhi. I walked in, took a look, and didn't buy anything. It's a standard shop with calculators on the table, one giant Chinese item. The assortment is always there, from Buddha statues, paintings, bed linens, fake gold, to teas and spices. But I didn't say anything, because supporting such businesses is standard practice here. Of course, you walk in, and the lights go on just for you. That's when it dawns on you that locals don't buy here. The prices are so sky-high that haggling is hard. You'd have to drop the price six times to even buy it. The classic question is: where are you from? And then you're pigeonholed into a price category. Western and Central Europe immediately get prices so high that it's cheaper to buy this junk on AliExpress. As usual, everyone follows you around like they think you're incompetent and can't decide what to buy. Okay, enough of the stories from our first visit. The next day, we went for a walk in Connaught Place. A "random" man helped us across the street and, of course, started chatting. He said he worked at a nearby bank, haha ​​(see a similar story about this scam below). He started saying there was a great shop nearby. We gave up, and he left. But after a while, he came back. We were still standing by the road. He said we could buy everything there. Then he pulled out his phone and showed the place on Google Maps. I remembered we were there yesterday. He said we could get a rickshaw there very cheaply (surprisingly, a rickshaw pulled up next to us at the same time, haha). We said we'd think about it. The man was very insistent, but he gave up. Then the rickshaw man tried to convince us to go. I checked the reviews for this place. I confirmed we were there yesterday and that the whole thing was cleverly planned for white people after reading the reviews on Google Maps. I'm writing this review as a warning, because buying anything there is a waste of money.
