Pottery Market

Not sure if I was at the right place. There was a line of about 10-12 shops, all selling the same types of items but at varied pricing. I was frankly disappointed that the charges were more than what I thought it would be in comparison to online rates. Infact, Id rather pay a few extra bucks online & save on taxi/fuel, and energy in the summers than end up there and pay the same rates. Or maybe online doscounts have spoilt my expectations 😅

Lot of stuff available including Earthern port, plastic pots, pottery decoratives and this small place is a great charm especially during festive season when creativity is at its peak. *this place Only sells things which are bought from artisans ( these people do not make things)... * PLACE TO BARGAIN....Absolute Bargain

The place is really good if you're looking for handmade terracotta pots and planters. Some shops also keep ceramic and plastic pots. The pots are made and coloured here so the prices are very reasonable. The place becomes really active just before diwali as they make diyas and other stuff.

Indian art at streets. They are really talented people and their art work is beyond imagination. One of the best art work I have seen so far at reasonable prices. You can buy these items for home decoration

Good variety of terracotta items at very reasonable price. Lot of potter have established their shacks in line. But be prepared to bargain a lot. U can get from diya to variety of fountains, from pots to decoration items

This is situated in sarojini nagar on 5th cross road.This was basically a part of Scandia house potteries which was closed about 4 decades back and the property got decided amongst the heirs of maharaja scindia.The pots are earthen mud art work.the rates are reasonable and quality maintained. Best for festival shoping particularly Deepawali.must visit for nice collection of decorative items.

This pottery market has about 7 to 10 shops on roadside. They sale clay, porcelain and cement flower and plant pots and few idols. They are not cheap as one may assume. Bargaining is a norm. Variety is not very extensive. If you are on the way, worth having a look. No need to plan special trip.

Excellent pottery. Good quality, and great prices for planters. They have a large variety of shapes and sizes and they even make on order. All stall owners are really friendly and polite too.

Located right opposite to Sarojini Nagar bus depot. The potteries are really beautiful. You need to bargain every single time or else they will charge extra. Loved the varieties. They have both porcelain and clay pots. Also, since diwali is around the corner, they have started painting the diyas as well.

It was indeed my first experience in this market. All pottery shops are here and one can get pots idols and many such things in this market. One does need to have bargaining skills if one wants to purchase at low cost.
