Pottery market provides you with different handmade clay items. At the time of diwali, you can find different styles of diyas and many other decorations items made of pottery. There are shops which have plants, pots also . for plant lovers, they are nice and also you can get items at reasonable rates.
We have been visiting since last 5 years during Ganesh Chaturthi. Beautiful Ganesh clay idols with excellent decoration are available. During other days regular pottery items are in demand. You can visit the shop of Lilawati Matkewali.
Nice place to buy pottery sourced from Calcutta, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Very economical to buy in off season. Around Diwali prices peak up. Kindly buy now to help ther livelihood.
You can find pots, mud decorative items, diya and other pottery stuff here. Good decent market. Prices are also less as compared to outside market. Car parking space is also available.
Bargaining is possible... good collection of pots n garden decoration is available.. sometime its high in price.. overall.. a good place to buy garden n house decoration.. even statue n idols of God..on festivals and on other days
This is one of the oldest pottery market @Sarojini Nagar and in the area. Very reasonable rates and all variety of decorative items available over the year. Special items available @diwali.
Visit this place every year before Diwali...don't like the place much but just visit it for the festive spirit. This year the market was smaller and had less choice than the previous years!
