My experience with Dr.Urvashi and her entire team has been absolutely brilliant. Throughout my entire pregnancy Dr. Urvashi has been an amazing guide taking care of every little aspect. Though she is extremely busy Dr. Urvashi has been with me whenever I have needed her the most. During labour she was with me every 2 hrs at night! The team of doctors and nurses at the hospital are really caring and supportive. Can't recommend a better doctor than Dr. Urvashi.

Not recommended for Pre-term births. We stayed at the hospital for 27 days and so have sufficient experience of the space. The experience was nothing less than traumatic. For anyone going for a preterm birth, please first go and look at their NICU. In stark contrast to the reception area, the NICU section of the nursery looks like a cluttered garage with insensitively sharp ceiling lights, random wires and poor ventilation. According to what we saw, most of the nurses often let the babies cry. Most of them did not even make an eye contact with the baby, even while changing the diapers or feeding them. The neonatologist Preeti was taking our case. We didn’t feel care or compassion in her time with us. We paid her over 50k for her consultation and didn’t even get to speak with her 5 times during our entire time at the hospital. When we shared our psychological and financial distress at the long NICU stay, she shocked us by saying that “you should have thought about all this before having a preterm baby.” This was the last straw, soon after, we shifted to Sitaram Bhartiya institute. More details: - Shockingly, there was no feeding room for new moms. The new moms were told to hide from the camera to feed the baby on uncomfortable feeding chairs. - C-section is a major surgery. My experience of a preterm birth was alienating and psychologically painful. No emotional or psychological support was provided pre or post- emergency surgery. In fact, the doctor even forgot to congratulate us. - The nursery had an atmosphere of hostility when we went to provide Kangaroo mother care to our baby. It was sad to feel such insensitivity from most of the paid caretakers. - We spent over 3 Lakhs along with the NICU costs. And still, Post-surgery, stitch removal and other consultations were chargeable @2500 INR per meeting. - While there were many shared room that were free, the admin put us in a shared room with a woman who had come for an abortion. It was heart-wrenching to hear her moans and cries from beyond the thin separation of a curtain. I wonder if they are aware of the psychological distress, this can cause to a new mother whose baby is in the NICU. We are still healing from the overall experience. We wish that you have a good experience of birthing, wherever you choose to go.

Very good quality treatments for neonatal and tenders. Well equipped labour room and brooders. Washrooms and wards and neat and clean. Hot and cold water supplies all the time. Staffs are good and responsive. Charges a bit high but worth services.

I had a vedy sad and unfortunate experience with the hospital and Dr Urvashi and her team expecially the dietician Priya. This hoapital tackled my daughter's first pregnancy in such a way that it kead to a miscarriage and further depression. Dr Urvashi is one of the most incompetent and heartless doctor with zero compassion. Dr. Priya is a very incompetent and probably totally unqualified to handle pregnancy diet. The hospital charged us a fortune and delivered sadness. Things dont end here the nursing incharge Nancy was another insensitive staff at the hospital. My daughter was pushed to the brink of her existence . The miscarriage happened because of hospjtal negligance. We dont recommend the hospjtal nor the doctor.

From the very begining of the pregnancy, I noticed a difference in the way everything is handled in Phoenix Hospital. Meeting Dr. Urvashi Sehgal can only be described as meeting a successful and yet down to earth person. Each question and query is answered with a smile. She is never too rushed to allay the fears of new would-be parents! The staff is helpful and prompt in their field of expertise, whether it is making appointments or administering injections as painlessly as possible. During the course of my prenatal appointments, I was never just a case number or patient. Every staff member is approachable and very personable. Not once did I feel that I was speaking to someone who is ill-equipped to handle my case. All this starts at the top, always. Dr. Urvashi Sehgal as well as Dr. Deepak Sehgal are pioneers in their respective fields and it reflects in the way they interact with everyone. The staff get to emulate such amazing role models who deal with all patients with utmost care! Lastly, the in-house meals cater to the specific needs of those admitted as well as the attendant. The meals always reach the room piping hot. This is appreciated all the more by a new mother! Phoenix offers the complete package in terms of a delightful hospital experience beginning with Dr. Urvashi Sehgal and Dr. Deepak Sehgal, supported tremendously by the esteemed and practicable Lactation Consultant Ms. Divya Deswal as well as all the staff. This team is rounded off by Miss. Jayati Sehgal whose brainchild Zaazen Wellness offers Prenatal Yoga and Prenatal Fitness to choose from. Zaazen Wellness is a one of a kind setup that offers Prenatal Belly dancing alongwith Prenatal Massages by specialists as well!

This hospital is in Greater Kailash part one and is one of the preferred one for deliveries. The rooms are really small and the operation theatre is also not too big. Though the doctors are good and takes utmost care of the patients. For the small kids they have a small play area as well. The hospital is good as per the cost. Overall it is recommended if you want to have a delivery done in a good hospital.

The hospital itself is extremely run down but had heard the doctor there is decent. So gave it a try and had my consult with Dr. Niti. Heres my 1 star experience- My wait was for 2 hours . I literally was the last patient. And i was there for a simple consult. Dr Niti said i needed an ultrasound that could be done then itself. The whole process was so rushed and seemed unsanitary. I paid at the reception and then was cornered by the same doc into paying more for her consult. It was all very shady. Be careful! And dont be rushed into anything youre not comfortable with.

This review is not of the Doctors but of the hospital infrastructure and administration. They seriously need to renovate. It seems aged and worn down. The consult waiting area in the basement is rather saddening. The admin staff is kinda disjointed. Its the main doctor's assistant that ties all threads together and make things happen. It takes hours for a consult. Post your consult, a person near the staircase asks for your prescription to get you the medicines from 'somewhere'. Kinda shady. They can have a proper pharmacy. PS: The doc is amazing and people swear by her. Again, this review is not about the doctor but the hospital infra and admin.

Dr Urvashi and her team is the most insensitive. I suffered a pre term labour at six mnths only because of their negligence. I was hospitalised for a month and paid 5 lakhs for a dirty room, unhygienic bathroom and unqualified doctors and nurses. Special mention for Dr Priya the team dietician who has no clarity and highly incompetent. The nursing head was another specimen. I am a patient unable to move and do my daily chores and she comes up and all she notices and comments at such a critical stage is how my hair has dandruff and that I need a shampoo. Hello!!! That is not my concern. Would hav really appreciated some compassion, empathy and a live healthy baby. They messed up my case and brought me down to a situation where i cant even walk and do my daily chores normally. I would never recommend Dr Urvashi especially for any high risk pregnancy.
