The Ocean Pearl Gardenia

The staff is very rude. We had a family function and were coming back from ferns and petals with gifts. We took an auto due to non availability of cabs and it was raining. The staff at the gate refused to let us in inspite of the fact that we were already checked in. He said we could walk the rest of the way in the rain because autos damage the outlook of the hotel. Never had such a bad experience even in 5 star hotels. Would never opt for a golden tulip hotel again.

Good ambiance, with a warm welcome from the staff. Good staff response for all requirements. Good delicious food. Good room iternary. Very good response from the management. Absolutely pathetic place. Does not even have hot water. Complained immediately when we came at 7pm. Every 15 minutes same excuse was given ... 5 minutes it will be there. When asked manager he started drama of doing stuff. Finally they brought a hot water bucket So save yourself a lot of trouble and go to five star or save money and go to a lodge. Avoid this place like plague. The front desk people are incompetent u professional nincompoops who are fit for monkey cages.

The management & staff of Ocean Pearl is very supportive, Co-operative, polite and beyond expectations. The property is built excellently with the added charm of swimming pool. Some rooms have poolside view which is really refreshing and staying pleasure with positive vibes.The menu is extensive and quality of food n taste awesome. The Chef takes the full care to finalise the menu as per our requirements and directives. My experience particularly with GM Mr Malhotra Ji and the Manager Mr Rakesh at ocean pearl retreat along with Managers Mr sanjay Rawat ji and Mr Rajeev ji at Gardenia is unforgettable. The decoration team is also very good headed by Mr Anoop Sharma and Ms Bhoomi. The exclusive and trend setting show was HaldiI function. I still feel homely touch post function as well and strong feeling to repeat the experience in future, whenever required. In nutshell unforgettable & delighted experience. I would not give any stars if there was an option for that as this place does not deserve even a single star. The valet took my car for a joyride and tampered with all the settings in the car's music system. Never give your car to these people and never consider staying here even for a minute worst ambience.

Perfect destination for a small- med sized gathering. Has a pool and is ideal for pool side event. Indoor as well as outdoor arrangements available. Rooms are good, service is quick. Overall a good choice.

Bed has lot of bugs. Linens are super dirty. No facilities and staff is not courtesy at all. Charged extra money despite booking online. Had to ask for basis toiletries. Which was not given at all. No kitchen or service available. Sends the Thela waala chai in morning at double rates than thela waala charges. Mosquitoes are in ample quantity. U will be choked with cigarette smoke and loud noises as other guest (locals probably) does whatever they want and staff can't control them at all. Scary. I had my own function at the imperial lawn of this hotel last week and was left completely disappointed and shocked by the attitude of the staff on the day of the event. The management and the sales staff with whom I was dealing became extremely rude and had a callous attitude once the payment was completed from our end. The snacks served during the event were cold and coffee was being served in paper cups, when questioned on paper cups their response was "it is no where written in the contract that the hotel will provide ceramic cups or a fine dining experience"!! Also at that point of time instead of accepting their mistake and taking appropriate action they started arguing and misbehaved with the family. We also have our doubts if dinner plates added later on didn't have any discrepancies. At the time of the function, it was extremely difficult to keep a tab on their slippery way of working and we won't and can't rule out fowl play on the plate count. We ended up paying for extra 150 plates. Almost 35% above our original estimated guest list. The problems didn't end here, at the time of the event closing we realized that the hotel valet misplaced one of our guest's car keys and refused to take any responsibility. We were left with no option but to call the police. The moment police came in they got pressurized and started looking for the keys again. The key was then found in the parking space but had the car gear lock broken and remote lost. Last but not the least, the flowers used for the decoration weren't fresh and the decorator failed to complete the work on time that was promised and decided upon. While there were negative feedback already on TripAdvisor I ignored it and expected the hotel to deliver the services as promised since the hotel does have a good reputation as well. Been a completely disappointing experience here. Do think twice before going ahead and booking this place for any function/gathering

I Was at Ocean Pearl Gardenia to attend our own family function. The property overal is a good one, though the Staff is quite slow in taking actions and the hospitality. The Air Conditioner of the Banquet and the rooms wasn't satisfactory. This definitely needs to be worked upon. The food, otherwise is good. We can give a try.
