I stayed at Hotel Konark, Indore and had a wonderful experience. The location is great, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food quality is excellent. The staff is very cooperative and friendly. A special thanks to Ms. Bhavana, who was extremely supportive and made my stay even more comfortable. Overall, this hotel is one of the best for both stay and food. Pros: Great location, right next to major malls and Vijay nagar square Cons: Property is not maintained at all. The first room that we took had a rat in the room and hence had to get that room changed. The second room allotted had continuous smell coming from the washroom. Further, the sink tap in the washroom was completely blocked. The very basic things were missing and hence not recommended at all. We had a good stay here. Further, i had forgot my tshirt and a trouser at this hotel Also there were 2000 rs in pant. I called them and they said they have found both the clothes. They transferred 2k to me and also couriered my clothes to me to navi mumbai. This shows their great customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel for stay. Had a really wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely polite, helpful, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. Overall, I’m very impressed with the hospitality and service provided here. A special mention to the receptionist Bhavna, who was incredibly sweet, professional, and caring throughout the stay. Big thanks to her and the entire team for making the experience so comfortable. Highly recommended to fellow travelers! The only small thing that felt a bit uncomfortable was being directly asked for a tip by one of the attendants. A Hotel Where Hospitality Still Has a Human Touch! Sometimes, you discover a place completely by chance—and then you realize that perhaps you were meant to find it. We were looking for a decent hotel to stay overnight because we had an early-morning flight from Indore. We were literally hopping from one hotel to another along the road near the airport. We had almost finalized another property, but the attitude of the manager there was so self-important and unaccommodating that I decided to walk away. Thank God I did! Because that decision brought us here—and the moment we entered this property, we knew we had made the right choice. What impressed me most was not the building, the room, or even the food. It was the human touch. The manager, Mr. Tulsi Kumar, is an exceptional person. He is kind, compassionate, extremely accommodating, and genuinely understands what hospitality means. He doesn’t make you feel like just another customer. He makes an effort to understand your needs and help you in every possible way. He offered us a very reasonable rate and did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. Mr. Tulsi Kumar truly knows how to do business—not simply by selling rooms, but by winning the trust of his guests. That is a quality that cannot be taught easily. The property is decently done, but what really deserves appreciation is the attention to cleanliness and hygiene. For me, white bedsheets are always a good sign. White reveals everything—there is nowhere for dirt or stains to hide. So when a hotel maintains its whites well, it tells me that cleanliness is being taken seriously. Some of the rooms also have exceptionally spacious bathrooms. If you are someone who appreciates a large, comfortable bathroom, you will certainly enjoy staying here. And the food deserves a special mention! The food was delicious, simple and comforting. Please do not leave without trying their Aloo Jeera. It was beautifully prepared with very little oil and just the right balance of spices. Their Kachumber Salad and buttermilk are also worth trying. Sometimes the simplest food is the best test of a kitchen—and they got the basics absolutely right. The staff are courteous, well trained, respectful and well behaved. But beyond their training, there is something even more valuable here—warmth and compassion. Here, you don’t just get a room. You get people who genuinely try to make your stay comfortable. There are several other thoughtful touches too. Music is played centrally, which is a wonderful bonus if you are a music lover. There is plenty of open space on the floors, with sofas where guests can sit, relax or wait comfortably outside their rooms. Everything feels reasonably organized and thoughtfully arranged. For people travelling by car with a driver, they also have parking as well as sleeping arrangements for the driver—a small but extremely practical facility that many hotels completely overlook. The location is another big advantage. It is not very far from Indore Airport, making it particularly convenient for travellers who have an early-morning flight or simply want to stay close to the airport. This may not be one of those flashy, ultra-luxury hotels where everything is about grandeur. But honestly, luxury without warmth means very little to me. A clean room, good food, reasonable pricing, courteous staff and someone like Mr. Tulsi Kumar who genuinely cares—that is the kind of hospitality I value. Sometimes the best hotels are not the ones you carefully search for. They are the ones you almost miss. We almost walked past this place. Highly recommended if you are visiting Indore. Especially if you are looking for a comfortable, hygienic, reasonably priced hotel with good food and, most importantly, genuine human warmth. A big thank you to Mr. Tulsi Kumar and his entire team for reminding us that hospitality is not merely an industry—it is an emotion. We came looking for a place to spend the night.
