1st thing - this is not a 4 star hotel Unethical staff asking un necessary money for a child staying. I am still disputing this with makemytrip Poor hygiene, dirty toilets, broken washbasin, dirty infrastructure, very small rooms Wont recomend to anyone. When we choose to stay at a 4-star hotel, the expectations naturally rise in terms of comfort and service. However, our experience was quite disappointing. There was no washroom mat, no menu card, and not even basic room slippers provided. Even after requesting, the breakfast was served quite late — after 9:30 a.m., which was quite inconvenient. The washroom setup was also poorly planned; the shower splashed water all over, even reaching up to the door area, making it messy and uncomfortable to use. ⚠️ Warning to Travelers: Highly Disappointing Stay at Hotel Jardin, Tulsi Nagar Overall Rating: 1/5 (Terrible) I must strongly caution anyone considering booking a stay at Hotel Jardin. Our overall experience was extremely negative, primarily due to major issues with room hygiene and the quality of the food. Room Hygiene: Unacceptable Condition Upon entering the room, we were immediately hit by the strong, unpleasant smell of stale smoke. This was not just a lingering odor; the room felt dirty. Shockingly, we even found cigarette ashes directly on the bed linen. The condition of the extra bed was equally poor. The blanket provided was torn and visibly dirty, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one charging their current rates. The lack of basic cleanliness made for a very uncomfortable night. Food Quality: Stale and Overpriced We ordered both dinner and had the complimentary breakfast, and both were a major disappointment and not worth the money. The food delivered tasted stale, suggesting it was not freshly prepared. The breakfast spread, too, was low quality and did not justify the price point of the hotel. Overall Verdict Our stay was a very bad experience. While I must note that the staff members were well-mannered and polite, their positive demeanor could not compensate for the significant failures in cleanliness and food quality. My experience at the Grill Restaurant was absolutely amazing! Mr Alam and Renuka were instrumental in making my solo dining experience memorable. Mr Alam made sure that I tried all the dishes (that I possibly could) available in the buffet menu. He even customised the starter dishes according to my taste. The waitress Renuka was very polite and prompt with her services, and also laughed at my bad jokes 😂 The rooms here are spotlessly clean. Staff is very cooperative and professional. 100% recommend! We had an overall pleasant stay at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of vegetarian options. There was also a live counter serving dosa and uttapam. The food was hygienic and of good quality. As it was wedding season, most rooms were occupied and several events were being held on the hotel’s front lawn. The only reason for reducing a star is the size of the room and bathroom. For a 4-star property, I expected more spacious accommodations, but both were quite small. Additionally, the room had a lingering smell of smoke, which was disappointing. The iron was provided only on request and was in poor condition.
