The Park Indore

Rooms are quite normal not like 5 star. They do have smart tv but it doesn’t work you have limited channels to watch. You cant even stream Netflix or share-screen too. This is the only hotel i have seen which doesn’t allow your own speakers to go. Too bad for 5 star hotel. Nothing extra they have so which you can spend your time on. I would never waste my money here ever also i will advice everyone their are far more better option go for them instead of wasting money here. We stayed at the hotel with a group of 14 architects from Bhopal and had a very pleasant experience. Kim Kum was an amazing host. My wife really enjoyed the outdoors in the pool area. Good relaxation with great privacy. The breakfast spread was great too.

Decent property with limited amenities. Lifts can be accessed only via room keys, but they deny providing a second key. So a family of 4 is expected to move together everytime. Also its not at all kids friendly. Do not plan to stay here with family. It is good only for business and executive trips. My experience at The Park Indore was disappointing. There was no proper arrangement for the driver, the food quality was not up to the mark, and only one room key was provided. The reception staff’s behaviour was average and could have been much more welcoming and helpful. Overall, the service and hospitality did not match the expectations from a hotel of this category. Being a 5-star property in a Tier 2 city, the tariff of The Park is on a higher side and similar to any similar hotel in a metro city. Given that one would expect top notch facilities and services. The room was really large and good but it lacked few basic amenities which is nowadays present in even budget hotels, e.g. there was no items in minibar - neither any drink, nuts or anything for that matter. Further the TV in the room was really old and not a smart TV. Basically no apps were present. This was highly disappointing since we stayed for 2 days and it was continuously raining, we wished to watch some movie in the room. When I contacted the reception they said they have smart TVs in only 1 of the floor and will try to accommodate us the next day but they never got back to us which shows poorly on their hospitality. Further there were no recreational activities in the hotel such a pool or TT table. The swimming pool water was extremely cold due to continuous rain and didn't have temperature control. They had only one operative restaurant but the food was quite good. That was one of the few positives. However there was no lounge bar. So eventually we had nothing to do inside the property as we couldn't step out due to rain. The location was quite away from the main areas of the city so there is nothing nearby to explore except a mall. It was our anniversary so they placed a small cake inside our room when we checked-in but the cake was so bad that they might have as well not placed it. Good hotel, clean rooms, great view. The only thing i disliked is that inspite of the bar in lounge area, they didnt allow us to have cold drink which we bought from outside.. they wanted us to purchase from them! It was my first visit to this hotel. We got early check in as per our request Staff is very cooperative. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the food is very delicious.
