Its a huge Sitting area, this the place where you can enjoy your movie in desi style , Whistle is normal on action scene or hero entry, There is only problem is there washroom and Staff but the rate and theatre both will good for your pocket and Entertainment point of view.
It's closed. But the area around it is very good for any foodie friend
This was the oldest cinema but this close permanently
Golcha Cinema is no more. It was a single-screen theatre and got closed at the time Kahaani 2 was released (Dec-16). The money crunch caused poor business and then the demonetisation killed it. Those were some memorable days.
The old Delhi charm and the scent of Shahjahanabad lingers in and around Golcha. Nice corner to enjoy yummy bhaturey chhole.
Golcha Cinema in New Delhi is indeed no longer functional. It remains closed today—though the building still stands as a heritage landmark.
Golcha Cinema is a historic single-screen theater located in Daryaganj, Old Delhi. Established in 1954 by Golcha Group, it was once a popular entertainment hub, known for its Art Deco-style architecture and vibrant cinematic experience. For decades, it was a favorite spot for movie lovers, showcasing Bollywood classics and regional films. Despite its iconic status, Golcha Cinema faced a decline with the rise of multiplexes, leading to its eventual closure. However, it remains an important landmark, representing the golden era of single-screen theaters in Delhi. There have been discussions about its renovation or repurposing, but it still holds a nostalgic charm for those who remember its glorious past.
