Oxford Bookstore

Lovely book store with a wide variety of books in various disciplines. More of a place to relax than a place for serious academic research. The books are sold at MRP so you'll be better off buying books for Kindle if you're on a budget. You'll be able to find most trending titles along with most classics. French and Spanish books can also be found here.

This place isn’t very spectacular in terms of its collection. It does have all the common, famous books though.

this book centre is combined with one book shop and one chai bar cafeteria, located at N block, Pratap building on the outer circle of the Connaught place. the nearest Metro gate is gate number 5 and 4. the bookshop is always crowded with intellectual youngesters bookworms and lovers a very happening place. Its an ideal place to spend your time with books. you can bring books on coffee table, order coffee or tea or anything and enjoy the moment. Forget not to keep them Back on thier places. This book shop used to have a very unique collectio, but for last 6 7 months there is no updation. I did request the manager to which she replied that there had been some issues with the vendors issues were expected to be resolved as soon as possible and we would be able to see the more and more of new books very soon.

I like Cha Bar's availability as a space for Delhi's youngsters to hang out and chat at over tea or coffee. However, overpriced beverages and dishes in addition to lacking a publicly accessible WiFi network diminish its appeal. I hope the manager takes this feedback into account.

It's a good place for book lovers with lots of options to choose from. They also have a tarot card reader in the house. They have also small restaurant to grab a bite in between. The menu is quite extensive however the quality of food served doesn't compensate it's price. I went there with a group of friends and we ordered quite a few things such as Kangra Chai, Ice Tea, Lemonade, Egg Burger. Penene Sandwich and Falafel with Pita Bread. The beverages were really bad, especially the ice tea and lemonade. Falafels and pita bread followed by the panene sandwich were really substandard in its quality. The hummus had too much off garlic unlike real hummus. Burger was the only good thing from our ordered menu

I have to accept it has a nice interior but the collection is not great. On top of that there were salesperson blocking the book shelf. I understand it's for a cause but I would like to browse through the books rather than seeking help. Even there guy at the counter while billing kind of had an attitude. Cha bar is nice but that's not necessarily the only reason for me to go here. Bahri sons has a better collection of books if you really love books. Never going to Oxford again.

Lovely bookstore and cozy cafe. Found lots of great reads.

Snacks and tea at Chabar are awesome. The very of feeling of being surrounded by books is cosy and peaceful. The place can get a little crowded now as many people now know about it compared to what it was a few years back.

The 4 stars are for the Cha Bar, the food is good there, sweet staff and fast service! The bookstore is good for the aesthetics but I didn’t find any of the books I wanted to buy!

A very popular bookstore of Delhi. This bookstore has a cafe also, called Cha bar. Both the bookstore and cafe are cosy places to spend a day exploring books and food. There are some mini stalls in the bookstore, just outside the cafe, where you can buy many stationary items.
