Deja vu :) Visited this spot 4 years ago and it still has that essence of enjoying your read with the perfect coffee mug Perfect for dates !! Perfect for solitary confinement:) Perfect for families..Perfect for reunion And a bummer it has Blue Tokai next to it's wall 🤣
Oxford used to be great, but it’s not the same anymore. The books aren't curated well, and the staff lacks knowledge. They need to step up their game to stay relevant in 2024.
Great ambience, widest choice of books for all ages, plus a beautiful cafe with great menu ! Plus some great toys
A serene and peaceful place with the chirpy cha-bar inside. Great Collection. Although you'll find books on MRP mostly. A special section devoted to selling quirky stuff like magnets, bookmarks, notebooks, keychains made by the deaf people is hearty to see. The diversity of books is worth giving a shot. The interior is well suited for a sibling walk, date or even works well when you are traveling solo!
I just love the vibes of this place 😍. Great ambience, helpful staff. Best place for book lovers and foodies too because of their good canteen 😋. Kids friendly place. You probably find every book over their and stationary items also.
I went there for vernacular books. Specially bengali. But the collection was a disappointment. English collection is nice. There's a cafe to sit and chat. But its too noisy. Less no of people were interested in reading or buying books than drinking or talking.
Honestly, i walk around drooling over the books with starry eyes everytime i visit OBS. The cafe is decent too. The vibe is amazing. If you are all about books, get ready to empty your pockets here.
Ok, this place seems to be busy due to it's cafe rather than the book store. Not a good collection of books, hardly any classics but more marketed towards a very different population. Not even close to it's branch in Kolkata .Mixed review on the staff: Some very good, some don't give a damn.
Amazing place for bibliophiles and even non-bibliophiles cannot resist themselves from grabbing a hand on their books. One can find any genre books, any newbie and can have a gala time at cha bar too along with your group. Heaven for bookworms like me!
Best place for book lovers ❤️
