Oxford Bookstore

good books... literary vibes a bit compromised by somwehat poor organisation and the slow replacement of books on shelves with tacky objects for sale... seems like a desperate attempt to make more money. maybe what they require is a more visible location.

This is one of my favourite place for reading, having casual meeting and enjoying titbits. Quick service, amazing quality food with pocket friendly rates. Do try fish and chips, pesto sandwich, vada pav, cold coffee, teas are amazing. I have tried lot of things here and till now all have been a success. My recommendations if your are in CP and wants to kills time or waiting for someone do visit this place and enjoy your time.

The name has been changed to Cha Bar. The place is a modern library and Cafe. You could find different types of books based on what do you like. The cranberry ice tea and cold coffee served is nice. The place is very interesting. It is in central Delhi. Could be reached through Rajiv Chowk Metro Station gate number 4. It is situated in outer circle.

Aesthetic and full of great collection of books.

Great ambience. Good collection of Hindi novel if u r into hindi literature but not too many collection of english books. Owner of shop is very cordial n cooperative. You can feel from store setup that owner is passionate about books.

Overall, a great spot! Vibe: 4/5 Book Collection: 4/5 Prices: 4/5 Service: 4/5 An excellent place to take your partner on a date. .

I been to the Calcutta store and compared to that the one on CP is in a very sorry state. May be because of the fact that bookstores are facing severe reduction in foot falls these days. It has a few collection of books mostly in fiction and children's books. Very little non fiction or the serious stuff. I guess the store is running still because of the coffee shop inside which appeared full and attracting a good clientele.

The food is edible. That's it really. The bookstore staff are callous, rude and thoroughly unprofessional. There are a few good people in the cafe and they try against insurmountable odds to do a good job. The rest are just plainly and simply terrible.

A bookworm's delight! Great place for having a quick bite too! The Cha Bar with its amazing variety of tea and sumptuous meals is a good place to hang around with friends and family.

PRO-Latest books including best sellers are available. Ambience is excellent.Very good cafeteria . Staff are very courteous and helpful.Regularly book launches, seminar and author meets are done here. Author signed books are also available. CON-No discount given. No stools for sit and see books.Hindi books are less in number. Should have more rack space.Park Street Oxford (Kolkata ) is far better. CONCLUSION-A must visit for book lovers.
