Wonderful place for custom made suits. Timely service and best fitting suits I ever had. I would highly recommend this place for excellent workmanship and quality and ready in 4 hours.

Items in the souvenir section on the upper floor is very much overpriced and proven fake and not authentic. They sell it at a very high price saying it’s of good quality and good value for money. I bought a coaster worth 3,500 but I negotiated for 2,000 and they packed it right away. They also mentioned it’s authentic marble but when I accidentally broke it, it showed how fake it was ~ it chipped off right away, the item is made of powder-like material and not real marble. Therefore, not value for money at all. I found similar item in one of the stops of the tour and they sell it at 1,000 (maybe of the same quality but cheaper price). Carpet section seems to be a good value for money with good quality and good services from the sales person. They show you all kinds of designs and pack the items securely when you purchase. But then, since some of the items in the same building are not authentic, I’m also doubting about the quality of the carpets I bought from here. This is part of the tour, but I’m suggeting to check other shops before purchasing anything from here.

I wouldn't come back here unless visited other markets. A lady guided me here and took me to the pashmina floor. She sold me a 80usd dollar for a 100% yak wool (Himalayan goat) pashmina, however it resulted not to be true. I went back there a day after to claim my money back. The girl was not there but the manager was there who told me it was not in their policies to Refund or Return. That was his first response, implicitly accepting I got scammed. He did not even checked the product or offered me an apology or requested me to explain what happened. Then the Manager just wanted me to deal with the store seller, who was a very aggressive ans disrespectful old man saying he was from Kashmere and started shouting at me. I even begged him to give me my money back. He should learn about negotiation and to calm down when dealing with clients because I really had a bad time. Finally the manager authorized the cashier to give me my money back. It was not about the price I paid, it was about the product given. I would have paid whatever money for a 100% yak wool pashmina, but it was not or at least I was not sure for which I should be able to have a refund. I would suggest a government authority to audit that place, not sure if they tell the truth to foreigner clients.

Very friendly, excellent work, and high-quality fabrics. The staff was extremely kind and dedicated, especially Vinod. Four suits and four shirts were made and delivered to our hotel within just two days — and even to another city, as we were continuing our travels. Communication was super efficient, and they were always reachable. Highly recommended!

My driver took me here after Qutab Minar. I thought he was going to Dilli Haat, so that’s why I said yes when he offered to take me here .. the people in this place are way too pushy. They don’t let you walk around and look. They have to get in your face and try to talk you into buying stuff. And they are extremely overpriced. A small bar of soap and box of tea cost 3000 rupees

Gulzar gave us a good deal and great customer service. I Honestly, this is the best place for tailoring. I wish I came here earlier and they also have a lot of great other deals best place in the city if you want to come find good quality clothes for great prices.

July 5, 2025 – Our 2nd day in Delhi My husband hired a travel guide along with a private car and driver. The plan for the day was to visit several temples, and I wanted to wear a traditional Indian salwar suit, along with my daughters, aged 5 and 7. Our guide suggested the perfect place for beautiful Indian wear and took us to Delhi Haat Craft Cottage Industries. At the shop, we were treated kindly. I asked specifically for simple cotton salwar kameez sets, as it was very hot that day. Each of us, my daughters and I, picked one, and I wore mine out of the store. It felt like a nice, cultural experience in the moment, but later I realized we had been taken advantage of. My husband had mentioned to the shopkeeper that we would be in India for over a month and would need many more outfits. He asked for a fair price, promising to return the next day to shop for the rest of the family. The man agreed. But later, when my husband told me how much he had paid, ₹6,500 for just my outfit and ₹2,500 each for the girls, I was stunned. I had no idea we had spent that much on very basic cotton suits. When I posted a photo in the outfit online, several local followers messaged me and said we had been scammed. Most said they wouldn’t pay more than ₹1,500 for something like what I wore. The very next day, we went shopping in Karol Bagh. There, I found seven beautiful cotton suits for myself for a total of just ₹7,600. The fabric was better, the designs were more intricate, and some even had embroidery. That ₹7,600 was for **my outfits only**, not including anything for my husband or daughters. In fact, during that same shopping trip, we also bought 14 outfits for our daughters and two men’s suits for my husband at far more reasonable prices. Had the man at the first shop been fair with us, we absolutely would have returned and done all our shopping there. But after this experience, I can only say we were misled, overcharged, and taken for granted as tourists. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to others.
