Straight-up scam – avoid at all costs This place operates through lying middlemen on the street who approach tourists and falsely claim that Indian Loom is a government-run store and the “best shopping spot in Delhi.” That is 100% false. The scammers speak fluent English and act helpful, which is exactly how they trap you. Once inside, the staff are extremely pushy, rude, and hard to deal with, and the prices are outrageously inflated. The whole experience feels dishonest and uncomfortable. This is not authentic shopping — it’s a tourist trap built on lies. If someone on the street recommends this place, walk away immediately. Delhi has great markets and honest sellers — this is not one of them.

We had a great time here. Very welcoming and showed us everything to offer. A friend and I both purchased a tailor made suit which was fantastic quality. The suit was made in roughly 8 hours which is incredibly fast and the craftsmanship is very high. Would definitely recommend.
