Delhi Shopping Warning! This shop and the staff have all the tricks on their sleeves to fool you with Price Tags, Mfg dates and inferior quality products. They show you good products at the counter and then give you half-used products at the billing. Their modus operandi is roping in auto rikshaw drivers to take you there for shopping. Beware of them.

We had Wonderful experience at Indian Loom especially with Sameena who made My Wife and I some very Beautiful Indian Dresses and Clothes as well as Professional American Business Suits , Ties and Handkerchiefs. The Quality of the Material used is very good, and cannot be found online. Sameena made our experience very special. We also purchased some beautiful jewelry. Thank You!

scam destination. was approached by a man while walking to Connaught place, who after some small talk, asked what I was doing. When I (foolishly) told him I was going to the shops he suddenly insisted that the roads were closed due to farmer protests, and that he knew a better place for shopping. While I didn’t believe him, he was quite convincing; he had excellent English and geniunely seemed to just be making conversation at first. He then told me he’d let a tuktuk driver know for me, then disappeared. I continued my walk and a tuktuk driver came over to tell me the same thing, that the roads were closed but he could bring me to Indian loom. Luckily, I was able to ring my Indian colleagues to confirm that no such protest existed. Avoid!!

I fell prey to it today. Was approached by a guy on a street in Karol Bagh, who highly recommended this store, and put me in an auto, whose driver said the same thing. I should have been wary because the moment you walk in you will be handed to a salesperson who is obviously on a commission to sell. The only shoppers are white tourists.
