Indian Loom

Our first visit to India!! I didn't have any experience buying lengha or saree before, so came in with zero knowledge a few hours after landing. Indian loom got me fitted, tailored, all day-of, delivered to my hotel that night. I showed up to our friends wedding the next morning in style, with 4 outfits ready to go!

Wonderful shopping at Indian Loom, excellent service from Mr Manzoor and the carpets quality are really good.

We were approached by several people on the street that were trying to get us to go into this shop under various excuses ("where you are going is closed" / "they have poor quality there"). If you read other reviews, you can definitely tell this is a common scam to get you to a tourist trap. Avoid

Be very wary of this place. They use friendly smooth talkers around Connaught Place to entice you into a dirt cheap tuk-tuk ride (20 INR) to India Loom. Once they get you there, they talk you into all sorts of souvenirs at jacked up prices. Negotiate the prices down to 50% of asking or walk away. On our way out, I saw the smooth talking "casual bystander" who had mentioned India Loom to me an hour previously on the other side of town chit chatting with my tuk tuk driver. It all of a sudden became totally obvious what a scam this had been. Honestly, would just recommend staying away.

Indian Loom is a market full of wonders at every nook and corner. We had Mr. Mahesh taking us around and he is an exceptional salesman. Had a nice time and bought some really wonderful items from the market.

Got scammed into coming here. Place was really sketchy, staff put a lot of pressure on us. Glad we just turned around and didn’t buy anything. Don’t go there, it’s a scam and you’ll be made feeling really uncomfortable.

Very satisfying and conscientious customer service from OP; we had to get a sari readjusted, and OP delivered without hesitation. It is clear from outstanding service and customer care why this business has lasted for 40 years. I would highly recommend this place for quality and quantity of selection.

Guys, difficult for my mother to climb all those steps to see the whole store. The sales person was extremely helpful and got the things she wanted from the upper levels to the ground level for her to select but definitely would be better if you can address that problem which I am sure many people would be facing. But thanks for being helpful.
