Indian Loom

HUGE SCAM We walked from the Shangri-La towards Connaught Place and must have been approached 20 times by different, "friendly" people who tried to convince us to visit this "fantastic, tax-free" market. We were told things like "do not go to Connaught Place - there are protests taking place". We eventually were convinced to change our plans and visit Indian Loom - by a very friendly young man who "only had our safety in mind". What a complete lie! We walked into Indian Loom and were confronted by around 30 people ready to get the hard sell on! We were there for literally 30 seconds before turning around and leaving! Thankfully (we only read these reviews after our visit)! We made our way to Connaught Place - running a gauntlet of people telling us that the protests were taking place - only to find that everything was fine and life was good. So unless a policeman stops you from going to Connaught Place due to protests - ignore every other chancer who gets in your way. It is a total scam. Just tell them that you have been to Indian Loom and you don't want to go back (unless you fancy the challenge of saying "no" to a bunch of hard-sell shopping assistants! :-))

‼️BE CAREFUL OF THESE SCAMMERS‼️ We were walking around India Gate, and there was one guy came up and tried to talk to us with a very friendly manner. The conversation was pretty normal at first, and then he started to ask us about our plan. He suggested us to go on tuktuk around there. The tuktuk took us to the president's palace, governmental places, and the last stop, was the "Monday Bazaar" (aka this place 🫥). He told us that it's a large AC mall, but when we arrived there, it's nothing like that lol it's just this place 💀 so we walked out and realised the whole thing was a huge scam. Worst thing ever.

Very nice place, Aniyah it was super kind and helpful to find a perfect gift for our parents and friends. I suggest this place for everyone who want to buy something typical from India.

Good quality product, the rugs here had besutiful designs and Manzoor was very helpful. The downside is staff in general are a little pushy and can make you feel uncomfortable for not buying. Would be nice not to feel pushed.

Talked in going by a "friendly resident" and was pressured into looking at overpriced souvenirs. Do not be fooled -residents and tuk tuk dri ers are paid commission to get you there and then a large group of men try and intimidate you into buying from them ! Just say no and don't waste your time

Needed multiple outfits for a wedding and Rakhi took GREAT care of the four of us with custom made clothes! They made sure we are comfortable with food and water. It was such a great experience.
