Indian Loom

Felt totally pressured into buying something we didn’t want and didn’t need. Everything is way overpriced. We were sent there by what seemed like a friendly bystander who claimed his mother works there. We went to look. We were trapped once we got there. I would avoid stepping in there all together

Renuka was lovely and the place is cool, so much to see!

Well known scam. Someone in Connaught square recommended it, got me in a tuktuk which was part of the scam, and took me there. The place is a maze it feels impossible to get out from. They try very hard to sell you everything. I bought 3 pieces of fabric probably 10x more expensive than it should.

Before we travel back to the Philiipines I bought two pieces of jewelries. Since they have to customize it, the owner promise to deliver it to the airport hours before our flight. True to their promise they deliver it to the airport and got the jewelries. Thumbs Up to you guys!!!

Irshad was very helpful in helping us find our new rug! He helped us as a newly married couple and now we will have a wonderful experience to go along with a beautiful and quality rug!

My experience mirrors the other reviews here. Same Starbucks thing and guy from Jaipur just a student studying. Trying to get me to go here. Thankfully my heart told me not to. Then I rounded the corner and another guy told me he was a student studying, practicing English. Crazy stuff.

I was initially impressed by the service only to be disappointed later. Indian Loom committed to sewing 10 blouse orders and promised delivery in a day and messed up 3 blouses. I had specifically requested if the order could be delivered on time and up to standard as I was travelling. The blouses done were at least two sizes bigger and the reason provided was they wanted to allow some space. What is the use of getting a blouse made to size when it is sewn two sizes bigger? Absolutely no apology or remedy provided. I would suggest steering clear of Indian Loom. I have photos to support my statement

LOL they deleted their previous Google listing because the reviews were so universally bad. Do you know how bad a store has to be to have hundreds of reviews with an average of 2.2 stars? This shop is a predatory, manipulative place. The salespeople are good at pressuring you into making a purchase. Only for naive tourists. Inshallah these people will recognize what they are doing is wrong
