My recent book purchase with Bookswagon is very disappointing. I purchased a book on 19th February,2023 and the original expected dispatch date was 5th March,2023. When 5th March arrived it wasn't dispatched,6th March arrived, and expected dispatch date became 6th March but it wasn't dispatched. 7th March arrived, the expected dispatch date became, 7th March but didn't dispatch. They kept on postponing one day each and never dispatched. Finally I contacted them on 13th March,2023. One of their staff said the reason was due to holidays and gave me a few more excuses. She assured me the book will be dispatched within two days. Even after I waited another four days the book wasn't dispatched either. I contacted them again and told that I could no longer wait and want the order cancelled and refunded. The lady who answered my call said the book will be dispatched today but I said I can't trust you anymore, just refund the money. The book was purchased on 19th February,2023 and the original expected dispatch date was 5th March. But even after I waited 13 days just to get the book dispatched/shipped (not to mention the time it will take for actual delivery), they never contact me to say sorry or let me know why it's late. They wasted my time a lot by keeping me waiting but never delivered the book. I no longer intend to buy from them after having this terrible experience.

Don't buy from bookswagon .they ship very late and when ask they talk very rudely.

I've ordered multiple times from them and I can safely say that the quality and condition of the books arrived to me has always been top notch. Though the delivery takes around 2-3 weeks per order, which I wish can be made quicker.

This store is a nice source for hard-to-find print books, but a well-kept secret in board-gaming circles in India is that they are also the best source for Osprey board games. They appear to run on a dropship model, which means that it will almost always take a few weeks for your order to show up, which is why I am dinging one star in my review and giving them 4/5. However, the orders are very well packed, and it is a nice surprise when Dad unboxes something we had ordered a while ago and forgotten all about! Sometimes, we've had games show up even before their US release, which is cool. We also love their selection of jigsaw puzzles.

Books are genuine and prices are very competitive.

I ordered a hardcover book a few days ago after reading a number of good reviews. However, when the book arrived, it was really disappointing. Although it had been packaged in bubble wrap, the surface of these book was covered in scratches and was chipped in multiple places. I'd really hoped the book would arrive in a better condition. A few months ago (In January if I'm not wrong) I wanted to get my hands on my first manga. After looking for a bit I saw bookswagon which was also a highly rated seller at Amazon and decided to give them a try.
