Nice Place But you need to Bargain a Lot Avoid Sunday Saturdays as Rates are Inflated, for electrical items shades etc they show you Best piece give you other so don't purchase in a hurry pots vases are good but check for cracked pasted items Artificial Flowers etc are expensive as compared to Delhi Sadar Market For Metal vaases meesho is cheaper for 8 to 10 inch size

1) Most shops have same prices, which are usually high and shops especially the ones on start of the market are not willing to reduce prices for products you like. ❌️ 2) It's an open market not good to visit during summers. ❌️ 3) Quality of pottery is average, nothing great. ❌️ 4) Service is slow, at their own place ❌️ 5) Parking is not there ❌️

Lovely. The place is so hidden I wasn't aware of it until I accidentally drove through it. It was a a row of shops decorated with idols of Ganpati. All sizes, postures and colors. Monochrome as well as more elaborately adorned. From a few hundred rupees upwards. It was a nugget waiting to be seen.

The potters' market in South Delhi is somewhat forgotten over time but has artisans since many generations trying to make it a living - still practicing this art which is slowly losing its charm in today's age. Dirt cheap prices and yes you can still bargain.

It was a nice pottery market had been visiting since my childhood and I am in my 30s now. Could see changes since decades and the prices have also been hyped for basic items like Diya Murti and Karwa. Items are rare in design and have many decorative items.
