Reception guys are rude and without any manners

Disappointing Experience – Serious Hygiene Concerns We visited Anandniketan Club on 20th September for a family get-together and lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing, particularly because of the hygiene and cleanliness standards. We found small nymphs/cockroaches on the soup and around the food container/table area, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning. Seeing insects in and around the food-serving area completely took away from what was supposed to be a pleasant family gathering. The food quality was also below average and did not meet our expectations for a club of this standard. On the positive side, the staff was courteous and the service was good, and the staff members were polite and cooperative throughout. However, good service cannot compensate for serious concerns regarding food hygiene. Overall, it was a horrible experience to witness such unhygienic conditions around the food. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and immediately reviews its pest control, kitchen hygiene, food handling and serving-area cleanliness, so that members and their families can dine with confidence.

It has all kinds of facilities which one wants to get in a club. Rooms to stay for unannounced guests landing up at home and cant be managed to be adjusted, halls to pre book for gatherings, gym and cards rooms , bar for the ones who decide to get sloshed outside their restricted homes, pool for those who like to get splashed about, fabulous weekly Tambola games which are highly exciting, restaurants for those who go on a kitchen strike etc. My favourite 'at home kind of' food, here too, but they take time fo serve and that's the reason the waiting visitor knows, that it is being prepared instantly. To be honest, when this club was just grounding its place initially, when it just began with 2 rooms as its office, when there was a vast open area yet to be developed as a proper club, my mother booked a small portion, for my simple day time marriage cermony during 1986. I have many more reasons, to be proud of this place.

Wonderful memories

I had a very disappointing experience at Anand Niketan Club. The overall hospitality and staff behaviour, particularly that of the night security guard, were not up to the expected standards. There appeared to be no proper seating facility for visitors, and when we asked the security staff where we could sit, we were simply told, “We don’t know.” Similarly, when we asked about the washroom facility, instead of being guided appropriately, we received an unhelpful response. Regardless of the facility, visitors should be treated with basic courtesy and provided with clear and respectful information. The staff’s communication and attitude left a very poor impression and significantly affected the overall experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving staff training, communication, visitor assistance, and basic facilities. Overall rating: 0/5
