Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dwarka Centre

I had visited for a trial class. The centre offers introductory classes on Sundays, but I visited on a weekday. They charged me Rs. 500 for just one class and didn't even provide a bill for the same. In fact, this amount was charged after bargaining, and the initial demand was Rs. 1000 for one class. Even top-notch fitness centres provide a free demo. I understand yoga is commercialised, but money must be made in ethical ways. The yoga session was good, but the people running this centre lack integrity.

Om namah Shivay everyone, for a while I wanted to understand my own self and I joined the Sivananda Yog and I am registering the way I am automatically opening up from within. I barely have any words about the practice of Yog by simple Asana you understand yourself and mindfully. So yes I have not been engaged with Yog for much time but it's just the best possible way to understand and remain mindful with what you do or intend to do. Don't feel shy of anything because we're all a unique character and wisdom is all that we dearly desire and I'm grateful for the centre to open up more routes for me and my internal development. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti 🙏🏽

I stumbled upon the Sivananda yoga center in Dwarka by chance and now 7 years later it is an integral part of me. It has the best teachers passing down the true essence of classical hatha yoga and took me from not being able to touch my toes to actually enjoying every posture. The community it has given me has nourished me in countless ways physically, mentally and spiritually. I have gotten to know myself better and also the practice of yoga in its totality. Highly recommend for anyone to join- beginner or advanced. Some discipline and an open heart go a long way.

I have attended their Yoga classes 3 times over the past few years and have found them to be very helpful.
