We consulted Dr. Meena, who is undoubtedly a highly experienced and veteran gynaecologist. Her expertise and approach were very reassuring, and I would genuinely recommend her to anyone looking for a good gynaecologist. However, our experience with the billing staff was extremely disappointing and needs serious attention. We were initially billed for four tests. We completed three of them and decided not to proceed with the fourth test (ECG), costing ₹400. We specifically asked the cashier, Mithlesh, about the amount and requested a credit note so that we could either claim a refund later or adjust the ₹400 against a future treatment. He clearly told us that a credit note was not required and assured us that the amount could simply be adjusted during our next visit. When we returned to the hospital a few days later and requested the promised adjustment, he completely denied having had that conversation and instead questioned us about why we had not taken a credit note in the first place. This kind of contradictory and irresponsible communication is extremely disappointing, especially when a patient relies on the hospital staff's instructions regarding payments. ₹400 may not be a significant amount, but the issue is about trust, transparency and accountability. It is unfortunate that such an experience with the billing staff can overshadow the otherwise positive experience with an experienced doctor like Dr. Meena. I sincerely hope the hospital management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better accountability and professionalism from its billing team.
