Holy Family Hospital

I would like to share my recent experience with the cardiology department at Holy Family Hospital, specifically regarding Dr. Gaurav. During our visit, we found his conduct to be highly unprofessional and lacking in empathy. While interacting with the patient, he made extremely distressing remarks such as suggesting that the patient’s condition could lead to immediate death, and communicated this in a harsh and insensitive tone. Such statements, especially when delivered without compassion, can cause unnecessary panic and emotional distress to both the patient and their family. Additionally, when we returned with the medical reports that were prescribed by him, we expected a constructive and supportive consultation. Instead, the interaction was marked by raised voices and dismissive behavior. At one point, he questioned why we had come to the hospital if we were not planning admission and directed us elsewhere in an inappropriate manner. It is particularly concerning that this behavior was directed toward a patient already suffering from tachycardia, a condition that requires careful and calm handling. Professionalism and empathy are critical in healthcare, and unfortunately, both were lacking in this instance. We also requested an estimate for the proposed treatment; however, this information was not provided to us, which added to our dissatisfaction. While Dr. Gaurav may be clinically competent, our experience suggests a significant gap in patient communication and basic human sensitivity. As a family that has trusted this hospital for many years, this incident has been deeply disappointing and has significantly altered our perception. Based on this experience, I regret to say that I would not feel comfortable recommending this hospital to others.

The labour/delivery session today was very helpful and amazing, got to know many small details which are absolutely helpful during the labour. The workshop was well organised and the physiotherapy session was also amazing

A Christian Charitable Hospital. General OPD is not very expensive. However, Private OPD is. Very neat and clean (hygienic). The staff are helpful. Nearest Metro Station - Sukhdev Vihar. The Hospital is situated opposite of the Fortis Hospital and before the Jamia Millia Islamia College/University, Okhla. The hospital has its own internal Chemist & cafeteria. At present, the Registration of new files/Doctor's Consultation takes place between 8AM to 10AM. Thereafter, you have to wait for the Doctor outside the designated room number at waiting/sitting area.

Is hospital mein nursing care Delhi mein sabse badhiya hai aur doctor ji acche Hain sabhi staff yahan acche ke karte hain bahut khyal rakhte Hain bahut acchi hai dhanyvad

This place has nice infrastructure, greenery but what lacks is that the staff is ignorant , callous and very rude( not everyone ofcourse), the kind of attention a patient needs is missing from this hospital. Some treat patients as ATM machines while others treat them as poor and untouchable. Being a doctor, i myself feel that this place urgently requires good and empathetic staff( Nurses, doctors & administrative department).

Mehnaz has been really professional and supportive throughout my mother's leg Surgery. She had helped with document requirements of post and pre hospitalization. Engaged emergency doctors when my mother needed attention at home. She extended the support even when it's not the part of her core roles and responsibility, making sure patient needs and requirements are met.

What a loveable staff... From addmission desk to TPA. They respect you and help you with atmost smile and down to earth way. But DR's like Dhruv from Neuro, make this place bad for families. Speaking without respect for his own colleagues, patients and family shouldn't be entertained by management. Where as his colleagues like DR Ruchi and DR Sahil from ICU make this place a temple of relief and support to the families of the patients who need utmost support in the bad hours. Special shout out to Shashi ma'am in the blood donation department. What a lady guys, treats patients so lovely. Great job Holy Family Family, you have gems expect a few.
