I recently was diagnosed with positive test for covid-19 two weeks ago. What made it even more complicated for my situation is that I also recently went through surgery and then chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 cancer (I am in my late 70s age wise). I was very very fortunate to have Dr Akash Tiwari ‘s guidance for both. Let me explain in detail below. Reading this may be worth your time. Dr Tiwari created a plan for my chemotherapy treatment last year and given my age and advanced nature of the cancer, he customized the dosage and frequency to avoid stressing the body too much while at the same time giving it chemo doses powerful enough that I was able to recover from it quite nicely until a couple of months ago. He also gave me plan for when to take the covid vaccine - and per his guidance I took the first vaccine shot last month. My second dose was scheduled for late May but then I tested positive for covid two weeks ago. This made me and my family quite nervous as after chemo, the immune system can be compromised and I thought I was at greater risk of harm from covid because of this reason. I consulted Dr Tiwari and he devised a plan for covid treatment based on his actual experience treating other covid patients and his specific knowledge of my cancer treatment history Dr Tiwari was always available to discuss on the phone or via text message be it day or night. Several times he would pro actively check in with me and my caretaker brother as to how I was doing. Many times when I had symptoms like nausea/vomiting or slight difficulty breathing, he would ask me detailed questions about what I was going through and after understanding my symptoms then reassure me that nothing was wrong. Ultimately his treatment plan worked and now I have fully recovered! Covid has been such a terrible disaster for so many people I know many of whom are no longer with us . If my comments here can help anyone else seek help and guidance from Dr Tiwari and help them get better , i pray that they get the full benefit of his talent and excellent therapy and good nature.
