Niyaani The Ethnic Store

Best collection in town, will surely recommend to visit for good ethnic collection.

I recently visited this Niyani The ethnic store and had a wonderful experience. The collection was extremely good, with a lot of beautiful and unique pieces. The owner (didi) was very polite and helpful, and her behaviour made the shopping experience even better. Highly recommended!

I would never want to go back to her again. She was extremely rude and lacked basic customer service skills. She seemed visibly annoyed when I wanted to see different clothing items, simply because they needed to be folded again. Instead of helping, she said, “You can just look at it like this, and if you like it, then open it,” which was incredibly off-putting. If you’re running a store, you should be willing and able to assist your customers, not act like it’s a burden. People are paying for these items they’re not free so they deserve respect and proper service. Her attitude was both rude and unprofessional. I will never return and definitely won’t recommend this place to anyone. I meant to write this review a while ago, but just came across a video that reminded me. No one should have to waste their time or money at a store like this.

Only if I could give negative review… but alas theres no options for that.. one of the worst experience i have ever had . When i went shopping they talked really sweet n thus i bought a dress for my sister as a gift , clearly told them that the dress needs to be sent via parcel to my sisters address they agreed for it. N when it was tym to dispatch the parcel they called my sister n started demanding shipping charges from her, when confronted abt it the owner very rudely talked on call. They should have mentioned about shipping charges when i was making payment for the dress only, how is it fair to demand shipping charges later especially from the person who was supposed to receive it as a gift? Since i am stuck as i have already paid for the dress so i am left with no option but to pay for it but all i wish is no one goes through such scam thus writing this review to enlightened people about these scammers! Update the builty of the parcel had 150 rs charges but they took 300 rs from my sister!

My shopping experience at Niyaani was just okay. I visited the store after seeing a recommendation from an influencer. The store is located on the first floor of a building with a very narrow entrance, so it's a bit hard to find. They have built the shop like a very small showroom but surprisingly, it doesn’t have a trial room — which is a major drawback. There were around 6 attendants present, and I was asked to try on outfits over my clothes right there in front of them. Since 4 of them were men and there’s a restaurant directly opposite the store, it felt very uncomfortable. I had to request the male staff to step out while I tried the clothes. They also promote themselves as a plus-size inclusive store, but I found only 5 options in plus size. The pricing also seemed quite high - most dresses were over ₹7,000, which felt expensive considering the fabric and overall quality. Overall, I wouldn’t really recommend this place if you're looking for variety, comfort, and value for money. There are better options available elsewhere.
