Lemon Tree Indore falls short of a 3-4 star rating, resembling more of a government hotel experience with minimal service. The restaurant service is sluggish, with delayed deliveries, melted ice cream, and mix-ups in tea orders. The lift is excruciatingly slow, taking over 2 minutes from ground to first floor, making stairs a preferable option. The room facilities, especially the washrooms, are less advanced than those in a government hospital, posing challenges for senior citizens with an inconvenient bath setup. The laundry service returns wet clothes with stains. The housekeeping service is remarkably lackadaisical, often neglecting to answer calls. When they do respond, it takes an hour for them to deliver the requested items. Enduring a stay at Lemon Tree Indore is a true test of patience, as I've experienced during my over 2-week stay. Subhamoy at the front desk proved exceptionally helpful during my stay at Lemon Tree. Kudos to him for his outstanding support. We Booked this Hotel as it was centrally located and easily accessible to tourists location. Had Bad experience in the hotel as they don’t receive the calls at reception nor respond back Had my patience tested when the laundry guy randomly opened our door without our permission. Their In-Room dining Charges are very high , 2 brown bread portion and 1 tea charged us 700₹ Travel group Family Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 4
Lemon tree is big chain and they need to maintain same standards across all locations. Indore Lemon tree needs some urgent maintenance. Washrooms and rooms were not very neat and clean And, overall hotel gives an old look. Breakfast was below average. Trip type Vacation Travel group Family Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 3
Horrible experience at this hotel. Did an early morning check-in after an overnight train trip. When we got to the room, it was blazing hot but we assumed it was just because the A/C was off. The porter turned it on before he left. We were dead tired so we put some water bottles into the fridge and took a nap. Waking up about an hour later in a pool of sweat, the A/C wasn't cooling. To top it off, the fridge wasn't working either. We stopped by the front desk to inform them of the issue and then left to meet with friends. Returned about 8 hours later only to find out that the A/C still was not working. I went to the front desk where the clerk seemed annoyed but reluctantly switched us to a new room. This room again was hot, but the A/C was off when we got there. We took a quick shower and left to meet up with friends again. Arrived back to the hotel around 11pm only to find that the A/C and fridge in this room were not working either. Another call to the front desk to request maintenance and a bucket of ice. Maintenance arrived pretty quickly only to respond "it's broke" and proceeded to try to leave. I called him back to fix it. He was able to get it working; however, the room didn't get very cool but it was tolerable. The fridge issue would need to wait until morning. Ice finally arrived but it was only about 12 cubes, about a quarter of the small ice bucket. Calling for more, I was told there were no more ice in the hotel. Next morning, I requested to speak with a manager. I informed him of the issues and he left to check the room himself, saying he'd return in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting in the lobby, we told the front desk clerk we would return back to the hotel in a few minutes. On returning, we were told the manager would see us in 5 minutes. After waiting another 25 minutes, we see him sneak out the side door and jump on his scooter. His parents must be so proud! Returning to the hotel that evening, the room was warm but tolerable but the fridge still wasn't working. I decided to remove the fridge and place it outside the door and called the front desk for a replacement. Two maintenance men came to the room and the sarcastic comments ensued. Then they tried to reinstall the broken fridge. I stopped this from occurring so they brought a working replacement. On top of these issues, the room floor was filthy and we mentioned so it would be mopped the next morning. Of course, this was not done. The room also has a pretty large balcony, but that too was filthy and had no chairs or table to sit, so it was totally unusable. Positives about the hotel: nice lobby, room was pretty large and they are remodeling. Location was convenient for us. And gotta love those quirky, Lemon Tree dad-jokes! My family have a overnight stay at Lemon tree Indore. We moved to the room at 10pm and we decided to leave at 6 am next morning. We are given the business room in which the ac was not working. After asking someone came and checked the AC and told us it will work in 10 min. Even at 11 ac was not working. I asked them to shift the room as I don't want my family to suffer in the next day 12 hours drive. Instead of giving any other good room, they gave me handicapped room. Bathroom flush was not working. Water was getting stored on the floor. Really pathetic ! Mr.Keswani should look into this. I have all the images and videos of hotel room .. Really embarrassed by the hospitality. Trip type Vacation Travel group Family Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights Luxury
Very poorly managed. One of the worst 3 star properties I've stayed at. Filthy bed linen with lip stick stains and other questionable stains on the duvet cover. Used cigarette butt found under the bed . Extra roll away bed turned out to be just a mattress thrown on the floor without even bothering to fold the sheets. Upon complaining, the Housekeeping manager showed up at the door inspite of requesting not to be disturbed at 10 pm. The housekeeper, Rajesh, could barely keep himself clean, let alone the guest room. He showed up wearing a filthy shirt which no manager at any hotel should meet guests with. Absolutely poor value for money. The only saving grace was the central location. Trip type Vacation Travel group Family Rooms: 2 Service: 2 Location: 4
It was great dining experience at Cafe Citrus at Lemon Tree hotel. Food was just amazing and service was top notch. Kudos to the team Lemon tree. Hospitality given by Chef Ashok was just brilliant. Be it grilled fish... Tandoori Chicken ..all the dishes on the buffet was just complimenting each other. Thank you team lemon tree for such a amazing experience.
Had such a pleasant stay at Lemon tree Indore. Staff was super friendly and took care as if you are member of their family. A big shout out to Anchal, Prasann and Rupesh for making our breakfast buffet so special. The spread was fabulous but to top it the trio went above and beyond to care for what exactly we wanted to have. They definitely believe Athithi Devo Bhava. Also would like to appreciate the house cleaning service provided by Kamal, rooms were Spick and Span. And anything you needed was just one phone call away Great hotel with great staff throughout . Would like to thank all of them for making our stay so memorable . See you again Lemon Tree Highly recommended if you want to be treated like kings and queens.
