Ginger Indore

Wonderful place. Staff hospitality was exemplary. Hotel entrance is from backside of the building. Top 3 floors are taken by Ginger. Reception is at 5th. Room, lobby is good. Dining area is big enough . Breakfast spread was delicious. Parking space is decent.

Air conditioner had a lot of sound. We asked for towels three times were given towel after two days. They tell you the lunch or dinner is complimentary and then charge you. Very unprofessional. The person who told you that the one day lunch or dinner is complimentary purposely goes on leave on the day of your checkout and they say that person left so you don't have anyone whom you can question. They say the room is three sharing basis and then give you a mattress which is difficult for senior citizens to sleep on. House keeping gives you towels after two days. Bad experience Food & drinks They ask you whether you are visiting ginger hotel for the first time and then they say you are given complimentary lunch / dinner you can avail of. Later they charge for the same. Very unprofessional and let down experience

All in all good place, just that it's a little lower on general staff conduct. Cleaning staff and their incharge , Rajesh ( second name withheld) were having a "meeting" which was so public that I could hear everything in my room. When taken up the issue, hardly felt that they realized what they had done, not expected of a 4 star property and absolutely not expected out of Tata group employees as the sole reason to come to Ginger was that it's a Tata brand ...... Writing in distress at this hour, bed is bad shape with yellow and other strains. marks tea cattle has tea leaves entangled all over… when I asked to change the worker said I am troubling him.. they charge to provide clean bed… which they are not.. where do I go at this hour.. I think they have all paid reviews…. Rooms: 1 Service: 1

Not worth for money. It's an old property. AC makes noise. Asked for ice cubes to the room and they said I had to pay extra. I had to pay extra even for a bottle of cold water. You never expect hotels charging Rs 4k-5k for a room to charge for such simple things. They will charge for the same room different as per number of occupants, I was new to such hotel's protocol so won't make any comments. Staff could have been more helpful. Overall the experience of the hotel was quite good, the rooms were neat and clean and were of decent size, the staff was exceptionally good and courteous,t he food served in the restaurent was vry tasty. The views from the hotel were normal...moat of the indore city can be seen if a good view room ia taken...rhe connectivity of the hotel with the city is perfect since it is locates in almost the center and most of the people know about the hotel. The only 1 downside was that it took me 40 minutes to check in as the staff needed the details of all the guests including their ids... Also there is space for only 2 employees at the reception....even if 1 more checkin desk is added it will improve the check in times greatly. Otherwise overall a fine stay experience...will recomend everyone to stay here...however book the rooms online...as they r cheaper that way
