We went there for dinner because there was a 50% discount on the District app. We had our meal and paid the bill with the discount applied. However, during our visit, a glass accidentally broke. The management charged us an extra ₹7,080 for it, even though it was purely accidental. This felt very unreasonable and left us with a bad experience. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

Wonderful hotel, very comfortable with very clean rooms, and top class service. Staff is always at your service. Very large choice at the restaurants, and also for in-room dining at any time. The 2 star rating goes to the reception team who doesn't have any sense of hospitality. When we reached Indore during late night hours, the charges quoted for 4-5 hours stay was out of limits. Online rates were way different from what was quoted in person to us at the reception desk. Though I am a member of the Mariott bonvoy, no courtesy was shown and the staff was very rude. We had to leave the place and would recommend Radisson blue over this property as they were very hospitable, understanding and caring at the same time. Rooms: 5 Service: 2 Location: 4

Everything about the hotel is great be it service ambience cleanliness or hygiene, But I was especially impressed with Chef Atiq Ahmed as he went out of the way to prepare dinner for me, his Nalli Nihari was out of this world and also Aman, at Reception who went out of the way to make my stay soecial and affordable!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Wedding Plans Ruined by Mismanagement We had one of the most heartbreaking and stressful experiences with this hotel as our wedding venue. Despite confirming our indoor hall booking weeks in advance, we were informed—just one day before the wedding—that the venue had been changed to an outdoor lawn. This was done without any prior notice, approval, or even a courtesy call from the management. Why? Due to clear mismanagement. The hotel had double-booked the indoor hall for the same date and time, apparently giving priority to a government employee. Instead of owning up to their error, the management pressured us to accept the outdoor venue, ignoring the rain forecast and the impact this would have on our event. What made this worse is that we had travelled from Canada to India to celebrate our dream wedding. We trusted the Marriott brand and expected a seamless, magical experience from a 5-star property. Instead, it turned into a complete nightmare. The day before the wedding, my parents and I were in tears, emotionally drained and devastated. Months of planning, decor, and vision were ruined overnight. Instead of enjoying precious pre-wedding moments, we were forced into chaotic, last-minute decisions and stressful negotiations. The lack of accountability, empathy, and professionalism from the hotel left us mentally exhausted and traumatized. To anyone considering this venue for a wedding or important event: Think twice. This hotel’s inability to manage bookings or treat clients with respect and care ruined what should have been one of the happiest times of our lives. Save yourself the heartbreak—look elsewhere. Extremely disappointed with my stay at Indore Marriott. From the moment we checked in on June 1, the experience was riddled with lapses. Despite confirming at check‑in that our package included buffet dinner, we were repeatedly embarrassed at Indore Kitchen when staff insisted it was chargeable. Even after showing proof, the front desk remained clueless and kept shifting blame — unacceptable for a Marriott property. Cleanliness was poor, with crumbs under the side table on arrival. To make matters worse, our room key was deactivated without any notice, despite us clearly informing staff of our check‑out time at the very start. This shows a shocking lack of professionalism and coordination. The only highlight was the restaurant service team — heartfelt thanks to Sandeep, Chandra, Chamel, and Shivani — whose warmth and efficiency stood out amidst an otherwise humiliating and frustrating stay. Finally, while checking out, I noticed the front desk staff writing apology cards for other guests — a clear sign that poor service is not an isolated incident but a recurring issue. Indore Marriott must urgently fix these systemic problems. Guests deserve better than confusion, poor hygiene, and unprofessional treatment at a brand that claims to represent world‑class hospitality.

The Indore Marriott Hotel continues to uphold the high standards associated with the Marriott brand. The staff are kind, professional, and very helpful, with special appreciation for the concierge team, who assisted me efficiently in arranging transportation around the city as well as to and from the airport. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, which is impressive considering the hotel has been operating for several years. The in-room amenities were comprehensive and thoughtfully provided, and the television offered a wide selection of channels. The lighting in the room was also sufficient and comfortable for working. The gym is available but relatively small, and guests are required to register with a staff member before using it, which may feel a bit inconvenient for those who prefer quick access. The club lounge is also on the smaller side and offers only light snacks, with limited variety. One minor issue was a brief power outage that occurred twice one morning; however, each time the issue was resolved within a minute and did not significantly impact my stay. Disastrous Stay at Marriott Indore – Avoid This "5-Star" Farce! Our nightmare began with a live pigeon trapped in the AC duct of our room. Housekeeping flat-out denied it at first, despite our complaints. The bird thrashed all night, ruining our sleep completely. The next day, they finally acknowledged the video proof, attempted a fix (which failed), and shuffled us to a new room—only after a full exhausting day, at 10:30 PM. Shockingly, the AC there wasn't working either. The night duty staff was completely unaware of the entire issue—no proper handover had been given—and they seemed least bothered, leaving us to suffer through a sweltering night until 12:40 AM, with my unwell daughter asleep. Checkout brought more excuses: staff mumbled "I understand" apologies (straight from training manuals), the senior gave superficial explanations, and even the duty manager offered just a refund on extra bed charges—like money fixes incompetence! How does a 5-star Marriott overlook basic room checks and staff coordination? The GM's "goodwill" points were a joke. We have videos and recordings proving it all. I had a great experience dining one Asia restaurant. The food was delicious, especially thank u chef Gopal, he is provide me delicious food pad thai noodels and chicken dim sum —it was fresh and full of flavor.
