SBI Branch Y.N.Road Indore

I recently had to visit Indore, and thus SBI YN Road Indore branch for some official work with family. Thus, will write an elaborate review. Location: There are 3 different branches of SBI in this area, This branch also has SBI Head office and thus is a big building with head office, YN road branch and NRI Banking branch. Other two are High Court campus branch and PBB Branch. Thus, ensure you are going to correct branch. Facilities: There is ample parking for two-wheelers, and limited parking for Four-wheelers. Security: Lots of guards on every nook of the building. Branch Facilities: Toilets were clean enough, there was a water cooler and ample seating. Management: Branch Manager is very co-operative and will genuinely try to help you, although staff is another story. Yono Help Staff: The staff who will help you with setting up of mobile app and internet banking was quite helpful as well and genuinely wanted to have their customers better experience than expected in usual SBI branches. Counter No.3 Staff- Madam was unwilling to do the stuff for the accounts which did not belong to their branch, although system allowed her to view the request and approve it, she did all in her control to send us wrong way and first asked us to go back to pune and get the branch transfer done to indore branch. Core banking concept is not acknowledged in SBI. Later, when manager checked the issue of branch transfer, and when over call/email, pune chinchwad branch manager did not complete transfer for an hour or two, he helped resetting IB/profile password with his own system and then we could transfer the branch. Other counter staff: Some were helpful in even doing stuff after branch transfer complete, but not sure, if they could do that same stuff without transfer like Counter-3 jadhav madam was skipping. Overall, we were able to complete the work after being in branch from 11am till 6pm(lunch break and 1 hr visit to another horrendous EPFO office included).

SBI offers excellent services for NRI customers. The staff is professional, courteous, and always helpful. Account setup and remittance processes are smooth and efficient. Their online banking is reliable and easy to use from abroad. Overall, a hassle-free and trustworthy banking experience. Highly recommended for NRIs.

The place marked as SBI YNRoad branch is a totally wrong location in some residential colony. The actual branch is located righton the YNRoad, about few hundred mts from the MG road.
