🎯 Hooked by a Dream, Trapped by Silence — My ₹15,000 Livspace Lesson (Why you should read this before booking your interiors) What happens when a premium brand sells you a dream, takes your money, ghosts you for weeks, and then pretends everything’s fine? Meet Livspace — a brand that showed me exactly how not to do business. Here's my timeline 👇 🔹 30 March 2025 A Livspace salesperson visited my home and pitched an interior project for just ₹3,00,000. 🗣️ “Design process will complete in 15 days.” 🏁 “Entire project done in the next 45 days.” 💸 “Book today and get a 35% discount (year-end offer)!” 🔓 “You can cancel anytime before the quote is shared and work begins.” I was promised speed, flexibility, and honesty. I paid ₹15,000 via cheque. 🔹 9 April Cheque cleared. Livspace now had my money. 🔹 11 April I informed the salesperson that my mobile would be out of network for a few days, and requested that they contact my family members (tagged in the message). 📵 No acknowledgement. No response. 🔹 15 April After being ignored on calls and messages, even by my family, my mother threatened to cancel the project. 💥 Only then did Livspace suddenly respond. This was before any work had even started. 🔹 17 April (Already past the promised 15-day "design completion" timeline) A team finally arrives for site measurement — only after consistent follow-ups. 🔹 21 & 23 April I follow up again on the official WhatsApp group. 📲 No one responds. No acknowledgement. Just seen. Premium brand. Zero courtesy. 🔹 24 April (25 days since booking — 10 days beyond the promised design timeline) Call with the designer — finally, the handover from sales happens. But here’s the shock: The designer tells me that the salesperson falsely reported that I asked the project to be put on hold. Meanwhile, I was the one chasing them consistently. 🤯 🔹 26 April Designer visits the site and casually drops the bombshell: 💥 Tentative quote: ₹10,00,000 That’s 3× the original quote. I had asked the salesperson to attend this meeting. He didn’t show up — probably because he knew his misleading quote would be exposed. 🎭 🔹 28 & 30 April More follow-ups. Still no written quote. Still no response from the salesperson. 🔹 1 May (32 days since booking — 15-day promise long forgotten) They ask me to send videos of the site again. Even after both designer and validator had already visited. 🔹 3 May Salesperson promises I’ll get the final quote "today at any cost." 🤷 Still waiting. 🔹 4 May Follow-up for the quote. Guess what? 🔇 Silence. Again. 🔹 6 May (37 days since booking) With no design, no quote, no movement, I formally cancel the project. 🔹 Since 6 May – Ongoing I’ve contacted Livspace support more than 7 times. Every time: 📞 “It’s escalated. You’ll get a call in 24 hours.” Every time: ❌ No call ❌ No refund ❌ No accountability Still ghosted. Still waiting. 🧾 What I Have: ✅ WhatsApp chat history ✅ Call logs ✅ Complaint records ✅ Site visit logs ✅ Screenshots, receipts & timelines This isn’t about project delays. It’s about: 🚩 Sales manipulation 🚩 Zero ownership 🚩 A complete breakdown of accountability Livspace sold me a lie, took my money, and delivered absolutely nothing. 🚨 Why Am I Posting This Publicly? Because after trying everything internally, this is all that’s left.
