दुकान में tile का छोटा sample अच्छा लगता है, लेकिन पूरे कमरे में वही finish कैसी दिखेगी, इसका फैसला थोड़ा सोचकर करना चाहिए। Renovation के बीच गलत quantity या अलग shade के boxes आ जाएँ तो काम रुक सकता है। इसलिए Indore में tile खरीदने से पहले design के साथ order की details भी तैयार रखें।

Measurement लिखते समय unit साफ रखें

Quote में square feet, square metre और per-box rate अलग पहचानें। सस्ती दिख रही दो quotations की units अलग हों तो उनका सीधा comparison गलत होगा। Box पर लिखी coverage और pieces की संख्या भी note करें।
Sample और पूरे box का shade check करें
Screen की photo को final colour reference बनाने के बजाय physical sample देखें। Store से पूछें कि available boxes का shade तथा batch समान है या नहीं। बाद में replacement चाहिए तो उसी product की उपलब्धता का कोई भरोसा दिया जा रहा है या नहीं, स्पष्ट करें।
साथ में grout colour और edge finish पर installer से बात करें। Listing में store का नाम मिलने से installation team या design consultation शामिल होने की पुष्टि नहीं होती। जरूरत हो तो इनका अलग estimate लें।
Quote में सिर्फ tile की कीमत न देखें
- Product name, size, finish और intended application
- Per-box coverage और ordered boxes की संख्या
- Tax तथा loading या transport charges
- Delivery address, unloading और access की जिम्मेदारी
- Damaged boxes की reporting process
- Extra unopened boxes की return conditions
Order देते समय rate और quantity की written confirmation रखें। किसी verbal discount के भरोसे payment करने के बजाय invoice पर final amount मिलाएं। Delivery date आपके installation schedule से पहले confirm होनी चाहिए।
सामान आने पर तुरंत क्या देखें?
Box labels और invoice का product code मिलाएं। Visible damage की photo लेकर seller को उसी समय बताएं और agreed reporting process follow करें। अलग-अलग batches को बिना जाँच installation के लिए mix न कराएं। Cutting या fixing शुरू होने के बाद return की conditions बदल सकती हैं, इसलिए पहले terms समझ लें।
