दुकान को पहले बताएं कि ready stock देखना है या custom order की बात करनी है। Photo भेजकर availability पूछ सकते हैं, लेकिन किसी image से material, construction और actual comfort का पूरा अंदाजा नहीं होता।

Delivery का रास्ता भी नापें। Entry door, staircase turns और lift access की details दुकान को दें। बड़ा item assemble होकर आएगा या अलग हिस्सों में, यह पूछें। केवल कमरे में जगह होने से वहां तक सामान पहुंचना तय नहीं हो जाता।

Material का नाम साफ लिखवाएं

“Premium quality” जैसे शब्द पूरी specification नहीं बताते। Store से frame, surface, upholstery या hardware की उपलब्ध जानकारी पूछें। अपने इस्तेमाल के अनुसार cleaning और care requirements समझें। जिस जानकारी की पुष्टि नहीं हुई है, उसे अनुमान से सही न मानें।

• Display वाला item मिलेगा या नया बनाया जाएगा?
• Assembly और delivery किसके scope में हैं?
• Damage या missing component होने पर contact किससे करें?
• Custom order में बदलाव और cancellation की terms क्या हैं?

Written specification होने पर दो quotes की तुलना आसान होती है। अलग material, size या fittings वाले items को केवल एक जैसी photo के कारण समान न मानें।

Delivery की तारीख और checking process तय करें

घर पर सामान लेने वाला व्यक्ति dimensions, finish और supplied components की agreed details पास रखे। कोई समस्या दिखे तो store की प्रक्रिया के अनुसार तुरंत record और report करें। Payment schedule, delivery charges और applicable support terms order से पहले पढ़ें।

कमरे को एक बार में भरना जरूरी नहीं है। पहले सबसे ज्यादा इस्तेमाल होने वाला furniture चुनें। बाकी सामान के लिए actual layout देखकर निर्णय लेने पर जरूरत और जगह का मेल बेहतर समझ आता है।
