China से सामान मँगाने से पहले HS code और landed cost कैसे जाँचें?

Supplier ने कम unit price भेजी और product की photos अच्छी हैं। फिर भी import का फैसला केवल उस price पर नहीं किया जा सकता। भारत पहुंचने तक freight, clearance और product-related requirements कुल खर्च बदल सकती हैं।

Product की पहचान पहले साफ करें

नाम के साथ material, use, model, power rating और pack size जैसी relevant specifications लिखें। “Electronic item” या “plastic product” जैसी broad description से सही classification तय करना मुश्किल है। Supplier का सुझाया HS code अपने आप Indian classification की अंतिम पुष्टि नहीं है।

Landed cost की छोटी sheet

Product cost, international freight, insurance, applicable duties/taxes, clearance, local transport और expected damage allowance के अलग columns बनाएं। किस quote में कौन-सा खर्च included है, यह लिखित रूप में पूछें। Currency conversion के लिए भी इस्तेमाल की गई date और rate दर्ज करें।

मान लें supplier price ₹100 equivalent है, लेकिन बाकी खर्च मिलाकर unit cost ₹145 पड़ती है। Margin की तुलना ₹100 से करना गलत होगा। ये केवल समझाने के numbers हैं, किसी product पर लागू duty calculation नहीं।

Payment से पहले जरूरी जाँच

Restricted import status, applicable standards, labelling और testing की जरूरत product के हिसाब से बदल सकती है। “Free import” का अर्थ सभी दूसरे compliances से छूट नहीं मानें। Current classification और obligations qualified customs professional तथा official sources से confirm करें।

Sample की specification और bulk order की written specification समान रखें। Supplier identity, payment terms और dispute process भी जाँचें। यह किसी supplier का endorsement या import clearance की guarantee नहीं है।
