किसी function के लिए outfit चाहिए और पसंद आई photo भी तैयार है। फिर भी boutique पर पहुंचकर fabric, lining, fitting और delivery के सवाल अलग-अलग सामने आते हैं। एक reference photo आपकी पसंद बता सकती है, लेकिन final garment का पूरा order brief नहीं बनती।

Delhi की boutique से appointment लेते समय पूछें कि वह ready-to-wear collections रखती है, alterations करती है या custom stitching के orders लेती है। Boutique की category होने से ये सारी services उपलब्ध हों, ऐसा नहीं मानना चाहिए। अपनी date और requirement पहले बताने से सही enquiry होगी।

Embroidery या embellishment हो तो उससे garment का weight और care कैसे बदलेगा, समझें। Matching fabric बाद में मिलना जरूरी नहीं, इसलिए blouse, lining या extra length की जरूरत order के समय स्पष्ट करें। Relevant care instructions written में लेना उपयोगी है।

Measurements और trial dates साथ तय करें

Custom order में कौन measurements लेगा और कितने trials शामिल हैं? Appointment उसी दिन मिल जाएगी, यह assume न करें। जिस footwear या inner layer से fit प्रभावित हो सकती है, उसके बारे में boutique से पहले instructions लें।

Trial में sleeve movement, बैठने और closure का comfort देखें। Correction की जरूरत हो तो अलग-अलग messages भेजने के बजाय एक final note बनाएं। Change neckline या length जैसे बड़े बदलाव की cost और feasibility trial stage पर अलग हो सकती है।

Order note में ये details रखें

• Fabric कौन देगा और कितना चाहिए
• Included lining, closures और finishing

Fabric ग्राहक दे रहा है तो receipt में उसका record और relevant details लिखवाएं। Ready garment खरीद रहे हैं तो included alteration और sale-item exchange policy पूछें। Custom-made और ready-stock items की policies एक जैसी हों, यह जरूरी नहीं।

Event से पहले final check का समय रखें

Pickup को function वाले दिन की आखिरी घड़ी तक छोड़ने से correction का समय कम हो सकता है। Appointment plan में trial और final collection अलग रखें। Delivery courier से होगी तो packing, shipping और issue report करने की process पूछें।

Final garment लेते समय agreed details, finishing और accessories मिलाएं। Care label या boutique की written instructions रखें। एक अच्छा order record आगे उसी fit को repeat करने में भी मदद कर सकता है, हालांकि अगली बार measurements फिर confirm करना उचित रहेगा।
