Overall it was a good experience to visit here with your friends , but there are few deer whom you can't interact with because they are behind a big fence, you can only watch them, also it's not a very crowded place . Free Entry over here . Go out for yourself to gain the experience of this place. Thanks for reading the feedback. Playground Fir kids there is Swings , sea saws etc.

Deer Park in Hauz Khas, Delhi, is a breath of fresh air—a green oasis nestled right in the bustling heart of the city. If you’re seeking an escape from Delhi’s urban chaos, this park offers the peace and tranquillity you crave. Spread across lush grounds, it’s not just home to herds of gentle deer, but also vibrant peacocks, playful rabbits, ducks, and—if you’re lucky—flocks of birds flying close at dusk. Children and families love spotting the variety of animals, making it a delightful destination for nature lovers and photographers alike. One of the standout features is the chance to see large fox bats emerging at sunset, a remarkable sight for anyone with an interest in wildlife. The green lawns and walking paths are perfect for morning joggers, yoga practitioners, or simply those wanting to sit quietly with a book. The park’s layout also includes a serene lake (though sometimes it needs better maintenance), and nearby you’ll find the historic Hauz Khas Fort—a bonus for those who enjoy heritage and architecture. Open-air gyms, wide tree-lined trails, and multiple entry points ensure accessibility, while its proximity to restaurants and cafes makes it easy to grab a bite after your walk. The only minor drawbacks are that some areas could benefit from more maintenance, and the presence of monkeys and stray dogs can be intimidating for visitors unused to urban wildlife. Nonetheless, Deer Park provides an invaluable slice of greenery, ideal for unwinding, exercising, or enjoying a picnic. Overall, Deer Park is a must-visit for residents and tourists alike—its combination of nature, wildlife, and heritage offers a refreshing contrast to city life, promising something memorable on each visit
Park with vintage view and lake with ducks, 100's of deer in the park Adding some of the pictures for you all.. Picnic area Peaceful place and great for picnic
Deer Park South Delhi also known as A.N. Jha Deer Park, is located in South Delhi. It was named after famous social worker Aditya Nath Jha. This place is popular for walking, jogging and weekend outings. Deer Park comprises many subsections such as Duck Park, Picnic Spots Rabbit Enclosures etc. The Park has historical tombs of Mughal Era. The park is accessible from Safdarjung Enclave and Green Park, Hauz Khas Village. It is also connected to District Park thus making it approachable from R K Puram near the courts side of the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association. The Deer Park along with the connected District Park (that houses the Hauz Khas lake) and adjacent Rose Garden (accessible from IIT Delhi and Safdarjung Development Area) make up one of the largest green areas in New Delhi and are collectively called "the lungs of Delhi" because they provide fresh air in the otherwise polluted hustling bustling mega metropolitan Delhi. A simmering water body makes it more attractive and is the perfect haunt of nature lovers. The park is easy to arrive at from Hauz khas Village, Safdarjang Enclave and Delhi Lawn Tennis Associations Courts. The Park has four different wings i.e. Rose Garden, Deer Park, Fountain & District Park, Old Monuments and Hauz Khas Art Market. One can enjoy the entire area, once inside the park one cannot believe to be in the heart of Delhi. Besides the above the Park has a beautiful restaurant "Park Baluchi" the right place to enjoy a day trip. It is called Deer Park because it actually houses a large number of deer inside the park. There is a large enclosure in the park for deer to roam around, play with each other, have an occasional friendly fight and provide a learning and entertaining experience to the visitors especially the children. Entry to the Deer Park and the surrounding green park is free and it is open everyday from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM during summer till October and 5:30 AM to 7:00 PM during winter.
