Oxford Bookstore

Loved the place. The attached chabar cafe is also good apart from once when they got my order wrong. Achari pizza 🍕 is a must have. Prices are decent, you can expect around 1k for two people.

Good store. Self-help books were out of stock

The book store is quite spacious and books are neatly arranged. One can browse about while selecting which book to buy. Did not find it crowded unlike Bahrison at khan market. On the whole the visit was a pleasant experience.

Revisited Oxford bookstore and Cha bar after reopening. As always, amazing exceptional service and experience. Improved ambience. Rajni is exceptional in hospitality. Must visit for booklovers.

Great range of books, they had the book I’d been searching everywhere for! Basically entirely all in English too, great for us tourists! With a Chai bar attached, a great place to sit down and read your new additions over a refreshing beverage. Just be wary of where google maps tries to take you - which is down a sketchy alleyway, I recommend asking for directions from a local when you’re nearby.

Great interior and a wide variety of books altho they can add some more

What a place ! It's a paradise for book lovers. They have great collection of books for all ages. I loved the sit and read arrangement they have done inside the store which is a great way of welcoming the readers. A cafeteria by the side of the store at the same place is an addition to the food lovers too. Excellent ambience with music playing in the background making it a cosy place for the walk ins. A must visit place.

It is beautiful (when I visited not a lot of people in the store). Has a large collection of books of different genres, along with sketch-books and other stationery. Clean place and books. They let you read the book for long times but if you want to eat in the cafe then you must purchase the book. The books may be expensive. Didn't try the food. Also, they allow you to keep your luggage safely.

The bookstore has a captivating and dreamy ambiance that I thoroughly enjoyed. However, there are numerous restrictions – no photography allowed, you can't use the seating area, and taking books to the cafe for reading is not permitted. While it's visually appealing, it might not be the most reader-friendly space. On a positive note, they do have an excellent collection of books.

Had read a lot of great reviews about this very traditional bookstore. Upon arrival though we were very disappointed with the store as a whole. The music too loud and distracting from the books. Customer service was also very poor. I inquired about a specific book, was told it’s not in stock, and when I asked if it was possible to order it was then ignored by the staff in favour of another customer. I wasn’t even sure if they were still looking for my book and wanted to leave but got a dismissive nod after a few minutes. For a bookstore especially I find this behaviour very sad and disappointing. Sorry but no good review from my side.
