Oxford Bookstore

Lots of variety books even in multiple languages. The cafe is also awesome.

Very nice place, kind staff, Great display of books, good bar to relax after the hustle of CP. Music should be softer in my opinion.

At par with the oxford bookstore in Kolkata, didn’t try coffee or any beverage there but the experience with books and their arrangements and how amazing it feels to be just inside the store is amazing

I visited this bookstore on Sunday and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The staff had turned off the AC because some employees were feeling cold, but instead of adjusting the temperature, they shut it down completely. With zero ventilation, a crowded store, and the CHA Bar inside continuing to serve food, the air quickly became suffocating. I started feeling extremely unwell due to the lack of oxygen and was on the verge of fainting. Despite asking for medical help, I received little to no support. I wasn’t offered a proper place to sit or recover in a cooler area, and the staff still refused to reduce the AC temperature. After nearly 15 minutes of my condition worsening, they finally handed me just a small glass of regular water. This complete disregard for customer well-being was very disappointing. A bookstore and café of this scale should be better equipped to handle such situations and prioritize the safety and comfort of its customers.

It was one of the best book store I have visited with all kinds of books and with cafe, the best part is the way books are kept. Good work team

Good for book lovers. Although the prices are pretty high! Food quality is not worth the price. It's an expensive restaurant!

Fairly priced books, neat layout, good selection of new and old titles. I would prefer coming here over Khan market.

I have to say, my recent visit to this so-called "reputed" bookstore was a huge disappointment! 😡 Despite all the hype, the experience was far from pleasant. First of all, the staff — they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I don't expect a red carpet, but basic courtesy would have been nice! Every question I asked was met with either a blank stare or a dismissive response. What’s worse, they didn’t seem to know anything about the books or the authors. You’d expect a bookstore staff to at least have some knowledge of their products, especially at a place that’s supposed to be famous! The only redeeming quality of this place is its aesthetics. Sure, the store looks great — cozy corners, nice displays, and it’s located next to a charming café, which, by the way, ended up being the highlight of my visit. But what good is a beautiful bookstore if the experience inside is so terrible? To top it off, the books are massively overpriced! 📚💸 I understand paying a premium for rare or hard-to-find books, but this place takes it to another level. It feels like they're banking on their reputation and fancy interiors to overcharge customers, without providing any real value in return. Honestly, I’d recommend just going to the café next door and skipping the bookstore altogether. Not worth the frustration! 😤

Loved the vibe carries novels from every genre

This is a good place to take a look and find some good books. Also the interior is good to click on a couple of good pictures. And there's a nice little cafe there too.
