MV PetShop & Grooming Parlour

Best pet shop in all of Lodhi Colony. They have a decent variety of dry and wet foods. But the most likable thing about this shop is their kindness and generosity, always offering the best prices. I have been feeding some stray cats, and they have helped me many times. I buy food from them very frequently.

I had a very disappointing experience. I had already called in advance and informed them before bringing my dog for grooming. Despite this, no one told me how long the grooming would take or that there were scheduling issues.During the session, the owner repeatedly came and pressured the staff to rush because another customer had arrived. Instead of managing his employee professionally, he spoke directly to me in an impulsive and inappropriate manner, saying that they could not ‘lose another customer.That is not a customer’s responsibility. If there is only one staff member available, it is the owner’s duty to manage time and appointments properly. I had come only for a basic haircut, not any special styling, and the charges had already been discussed.Due to the constant pressure and rushed handling, my dog was groomed forcefully. Her hair was pulled roughly, and her nails were clipped harshly—two of her nails were injured and bleeding. Pets are living beings and deserve gentle, humane treatment, not rushed or careless handling. The owner’s behavior was unprofessional and impulsive, and the way the situation was handled caused both physical harm to my pet and emotional distress. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their pet’s safety and respectful service. Sharing this conversation for transparency. After my dog was injured during grooming and her nails were bleeding, I was told to be ‘thankful’ because medication was applied. I don’t understand this mindset. When a pet is hurt due to rushed or forceful handling, the correct response is accountability and an apology—not asking the customer to be grateful. Pets are living beings, not objects
