C R Park Market No. 1 is really a compact market. All essential household items are available here. In a big building there are shops for groceries, tea,sweet, fried items and so many other things. This market mainly caters to local Bengali population. Since all the items required for Bengali cuisines are available here, people from distance also visit this place frequently. Since Bengalis are very fond of fish and sweets,these two items are the signature items of this market. Fish market is a wet market and there is no fish which is not available in this market . There is also a vegetable market. There are many sweet shops in the market and all of them are famous in Delhi. There are several restaurants also. The market is full of hustle and bustle. We baught some special Bengali sweets and spices which are required for Bengali cuisine. But one should not think that only Bengali staffs are available here. All other items are also available. We enjoyed our shopping.

Nice place, prices high. Don't visit on Tuesday evening... most of the shops are closed.

I love this market because everything here is Bengali. And being a Bengali myself I can never get over this place. The market has everything starting from fish and poultry, groceries, restaurants, fast-food stalls, sweet shops and what not. And mind you, everything will be Bengali. The major criticism I have of this place is that it can do with better sanitation and hygiene. Also the open area inside the market is showing it's age. This place is for everyone. Overall a wonderful experience being here and a gentle reminder of everything that makes an individual a Bong.

Please try market no. 2 if you're looking for Bengali experience, because as I observed market no. 1 that items, food, groceries, etc are not that fresh/good in quality, it's better to try and opt for market no. 2 because it has more options, fresh good people and ofcourse better ambience overall..
