If you're a Bengali, missing home in Delhi, or you need some Bengali ration, I doubt you'll find another place like this. Raju chaat (a highlight of this market 1) was just about ok. I feel it's over-hyped. The puchka was ok, but the dahi-puri was seriously disappointing. I would any day take the local Delhi version at a Haldirams. The only saving grace was that I didn't fall sick after eating it. Annapurna sweets in Market 2 has good samosas and Bengali sweets - if you're craving mishti. Of course nothing like home sweet home, but it might be a temporary balm to homesickness. Not worth coming all this way if you stay far (like, it will take you an hour to get here). The market itself is small, not the cleanest, with cheek-by-jowl shops and quite crowded. If it's just rations, ordering through speciality stores online (if you don't stay close by) might be a better option.

This is every bengali's heaven. Bengalis living in Delhi ncr have to come here atleast once every 3 months to have Bengali sweets, Bengali dishes, Bengali vegetables and food materials etc. It's the ultimate place to hang out and shop.

This is the best place for all bengalis. You will find all varieties of Bengali snacks like eggdevil, fish cutlet, chicken cutlet, mutton chaap, different types of rolls, and last but not the least that is delicious sweets along with north Indian and Chinese foods as well. There are few shops for bengali sarees, also. One of the famous fish markets. You can easily reach there if you are crossing nehru place to Hauz Kha's inner ring road. Only one bus route is available which will drop you close to the market. Generally this is an all time happening place, however you will enjoy during Durgapuja, and kali puja.

All sorts of sweet Shop and fish market basically you get Bengali sweets such as mishti dohi, kadam kher etc.Best Durga Puja is celebrated in close proximity to this market.

A Bengali ghetto right in the heart of Delhi, you get everything Bengali here, daily vegetables, spices sweets, and even Bengali street snacks you get everything here. The concern is the flooring. It needs maintenance.

Must visit if one is a Bengali and missing Kolkata, one will get all kinds of condiments, spices(the local brands-)and food items that one gets in Kolkata. Also the sweet shops are a must try and so are the fish stalls if one wants to take raw and cook at home.. Foodwise I found the one at market 2(maa tara to be the best), don't try the biryanis that you get in Kolkata biryani house/aminia as you will be disappointed.

Market No. 1 is a local market for the local people. Within the market, there is a Fish Market where you'll get almost all types of fish, prawn, crabs, lobster, etc. Market No. 1 is popular for Bengali Sweets though sweets are now not up-to-the mark. Here you'll get Several types of live prepared food - veg and non-veg, ice cream, etc.

The best market in Delhi for Bengali merchandise. Great varieties of fresh fish to vegetables (especially Bengali favourites) to dry spices and good sweets are on offer. Small restaurants catering for the Bengali Thali, rolls, chops and various other mouth-watering delicacies are also available. A visit to this market makes you feel in Kolkata.
