Paradise for nonveg snack stalls, prime Bengali Sweets and favourite Bengali cuisines, favourite other items mostly available in Kolkata. Parking is a headache close by. However, fishes are comparatively costlier than other places.

Fish market is good and you will have almost all varieties of fish out there, The price is also pretty reasonable

Good if you're looking for very specific fish varieties, typically used in Bengali or other Eastern cusinies. Though quality over the years have slightly stumbled but if you can time your visits well you can get your hands on some fresh produce (fishes), particularly Hilsa fish (Indian Herring) or Pabda fish. Not sure if supply of live fishes (usual varieties like Catla and Rohu) is available,might need to ask vendors for that information. Would Not recommend though if you're looking for good extensive crustacean varieties like prawn, shrimp, crab,etc. In that case, you are better off searching in C.R. Park Market-2 instead.

You ask for any item included in bengali cuisine and you will get it in this market. Starting from khejur gur, mua, pickle, spices ,oil and the list goes on. You can also grab your hands on kolar mocha, Thor, laal saag ,bori. There is fish market also to satisfy the taste buds. Also give jhaal muri and phuchka a try if you visit this market.

Cr park market is heaven for Bengalis, from buying kolkata style food to raw fish you find everything here. Kamala sweets nearby is probably one of the better sweet shops in this vicinity.

Best place to buy yr fruits n vegetables. You get loads of sweets n savoury items, all sorts of namkeen with Bengali touch , rolls n kabebs n also different types of bori / vadi .....Not only this you get fresh fruits n green coconuts too if u wanna hv fresh coconut water. There r shops for clothes too. Lovely sarees n men's wear too.

This is a very good market, with a lot of different options to buy from. The food options here are pretty decent, and not so expensive as compared to other places. The market is a bit small though, and sometimes you're greeted with the strong scent of fish. All in all, a very good place.

This place is auto-drool mode! Great place to eat bengali street food. Puchkas(golgappa), rolls, sweet delicacies of all shapes and sizes... You name it. Taking away one star as the parking is not managed at all.
