Market no.1, C. R. Park is a foodie's paradise. Various variety of fish, ready made evening snacks, from chop to tikka from golgappa chat to Chinese chat. It is a must go place when you are in Delhi.
This is MCD market place. Few shops maintan the hygiene and Cleanness rest other are dirty. This is Very Crowded place specially in pick hours in evening. Here is parking issue.
A plethora of things available. From the famous puchkas. To kolkotta mithai and biryanis. I personally go for the raw sea food. And some exotic veggies not available anywhere else. A must visit.
It serves all the necessary things for the Bengali people. Just 1 negative point due to lack of parking space and high price.
The golgappas at the corner of the market are to die for, if you are looking for death by spice. Absolutely love it! A plethora of other eateries worth at least a handful of visits.
Mishti Doi of Kamala Sweets is really kamaal. Altogether different ghupchup (golgappa) and authentic Bengali sweets. Unlike any other market/shop you can even buy a single piece of the sweet you want to taste
AWESOME place to visit specially for Bengali stuff like sweet dishes matka misthi dhai and for RAW FISHES...you are going to find a huge variety of fishes there (raw)....and you'll going to get awesome Bengali style cooked , roasted fishes....and thE LAST I wanna tell you all is that that complex is having a veryh famous GOLL GAPPE WALLA (ATTA KAI GOLL GAPPE) THOSE ARE JUST MARVELOUS .....must try those goll gappes when you plan visit there...thank you!!!
A multiple utility market. If you are a fish eater, then it provides you with miltiple choice of raw fish. Add to that the wide choice of bengali sweets that is available.
Mini Kolkata. You can get all your daily needs of typical bengali items here. The cost will be much higher in comparison to Kolkata but at least you can have these products in Delhi.
Best market in Delhi for the Bengali people from Kolkata. However, fish market of Market No.2 seems better than Market No.1 Nearest Metro: 1. Greater Kailash (Magenta Line). 2. Nehru Place (Voilet Line). From both the metro auto fare: ₹40/-
